One of my favorite memories of baseball in the '70s is Willie Stargell windmilling his bat before launching a ball into the bleachers (or occasionally out of the ballpark). Willie died OTD in 2001, the day PNC Park opened in Pittsburgh. @Pirates
Dear baseball fans: I wanted to tell you that I'm on Bluesky now with a new handle, 70sbaseball.bsky.app. I'm not going to delete this account yet, but I'm not planning to post anymore here either. Thank you for following me - it has been a fun ride. And Happy Holidays!
Hey, everyone: I'm going to take a break from posting this week, but I'd like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate. Thanks as always for following — see you in December.
