England-Tonga analysis: - England's second phase plan was great, but they fell apart inside 20m. Turns out playing two 7s and no 6 isn't a great idea. Smith and Williams far too similar, something something Jake Connor. - So many boring, predictable block plays. A decent NRL defence stops that all week. Also halves getting caught on 4th and 5th and taking themselves out of the game...just rubbish. - MMT superb basics, smashed the middle, let England make mistakes. Not flashy but proper rep footy. - Tonga are limited creatively, but if you have one great kicker like Katoa and guys to give him a quick ruck and clean ball, you're in. They're a threat to anyone.
