Trafford, Wood and Brady. Shocking business everywhere else.
How many of these were good transfers? I’m saying 2, maybe 3. #twitterclarets

Here we go, all the players who have proven themselves not good enough to keep us in the Premier League now feel they’re too good to play in the Championship!!

Careful ALK will give him the post full time when they realise he’s boosting our ‘social media metrics’.

We’ve won 1 in 25 but the players/staff are behaving like we’ve lost our greatest ever manager. Then they turn in that performance last night, more pitiful than some of the dross served up under Parker this season. It’s pathetic. Broken club from top to bottom. #twitterclarets

We’re so poor. How many times have we given the ball away already? #twitterclarets

If you don’t understand those figures let me try and explain in a very basic way. You earn £30k a year, but your mortgage is £35k a year. To plug the gap you sell your car, but you can’t afford to pay the finance off, so you still have to pay the monthly repayment.

So you borrow more money to pay the monthly fee. This time securing against your house. But it’s ok cos you’ve been promised a promotion next year at work and a big bonus too so you’ll be able to pay it all back when that happens.

Dismal reading.

Absolutely bizarre timing all this coming out after we’ve been relegated yet still 4 games to go. Looks like ALK had given up any hope of staying up even before the fans had otherwise they’d have canned him at Christmas.

Effectively a 3 match ban for racist abuse but players get months for gambling. Shows how seriously football actually takes racism…
Benfica's Gianluca Prestianni has been given a six-match ban by UEFA for discriminatory conduct towards Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior during a Champions League match in February, with three matches suspended for a period of two years.

Burnley Player of the Day Lee Briscoe. Who booed when Stan brought him on against Walsall, only for him to go and score two goals in about 5 minutes?! Made 106 league appearances for the Clarets between 2000 - 2003. #twitterclarets

Fair play everyone knows he’s a big Forest fan, but read the fucking room.
Just lost 4-1 to Nottingham Forest and Joe Worrall is enjoying his 3rd Instagram story twerking for former club Nottingham Forest. Funnily, he’s had 3 more Instagram stories than minutes played today (0).

Get the right manager in and they create the culture, drive the transfer policy and set the ‘style of play’ that gets results on the pitch. Experienced football people should be making those decisions. #twitterclarets

Not much Don Pace action these days is there…? Invisible Don more like. Chairman not fancy coming out and commenting on another piss take of a performance?

I don’t agree that we don’t have the quality to stay up. After the first half a dozen games the midfield 3 in particular looked like they could be as good as any we’ve had in the Premier League. Fast forward to April and they look average at best.
⚽️ "I don't know [about the managerial situation next season]. My focus is this season in trying to guide this team and be the best we can possibly be. Regarding myself and what the club's plans are, we'll sit down and do existing conversations." #Burnley head coach Scott Parker #utc | #twitterclarets | #bbcfootball

The players have given up as have the fans. Parker looks clueless as to what to do to even drum up a performance, never mind a result. May as well put the youth team out for the last 5 games. #twitterclarets

The longer this situation is allowed to continue, the more toxic the relationship the Club has with its fans is going to get. Why are we keeping hold of Parker? Why has he, and the players, not faced any consequence as a result of a truly incompetent season? To get us back up? To keep the players together? Makes no sense, as he’ll lose that squad and fans want him gone. We’re sleepwalking our way into a club of nothingness. I’m deeply concerned. #twitterclarets
