We were in attendance, gay men and lesbians giving out water, hand sanatiser, snacks, legal bust cards, and respectfully listening to many speakers. This is a radical and far reaching kind of solidarity that transphobes could never accept or hope to achieve through division. 3/4

My main thought is film/record as much as you can. I've heard of incidents things being said at Bristol but people haven't got them on film. And stay safe.

There is no legal right to abortion on request in the UK. Abortion is still dependent on the approval of two doctors and the legislation is the 1967 act, one of five grounds must be satisfied. There is a time limit of 23 weeks and 6 days in most cases.

After the Bristol protest we went to a nearby cafe, with a pair of people from the GC demo inside, we struck up a conversation where they said covid was bullshit, masks are a means of control, and express anti-vaxxers sentiments, it was quite an obsurd exchange.
This relays to a point that we made extensively on Sunday. The politicians undermining trans representation, limiting their healthcare, protecting conversion therapy, and scrapping Pro trans reform... Aren't feminists or women's advocates, they're conservatives&mysognists.

One day she is so scared of genitals she'd ask armed men to go into the bathroom to stop them. Other day she takes photos of them, points them out in public, and laughs about it. How does publicly humiliating people help women's rights? It doesn't, but it is transphobic.

Behaviours that would usually be considered inappropriate, or even mysognistic, are just "stating facts" when transphobes do it. The whole day was full of them shouting targeted insults at individuals, but admitting that means they're responsible for hostilities at least partly.
