I don’t think ya’ll appreciate enough the significance of what is happening here. It appears we have a very real chance that an active NFL player could sue the team he is under contract with for putting him in a life-threatening position / making his medical condition worse. Not just any active NFL player, but a starting QB and recent Super Bowl MVP. A potential lawsuit would rock the NFL, and call into question injury reporting, international game travel protocol, reporting, and a potential coverup.

I believe we have witnessed and are witnessing the biggest scandal in a North American major sport since the inception of legalized sports gambling. The Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers have each never won a World Series. Both are the AL and NL standards for building competitive teams without financial resources. What are the odds that, the season before a lockout amid financial competitiveness, two of MLB’s smallest markets make the World Series and are cited by players and media as proof you can compete without big-market spending? Both teams, of which each has never won one, have made it. We will have a first-time-ever World Series champion. It's all happening this season. Major coincidence? Or ultimate collusion? Baseball is a sport where if there’s a way to cheat, you will. The players’ union is one of the most unfair fighting mobs in any sports league. That's 'cause the sport of baseball is as dirty as it comes—always has been, always will be. I’m not saying it’s odd the Brewers swept the Dodgers, whose stars looked like they phoned it in. I'm saying it's very unbelievable. If you put on a tinfoil hat, you wonder if players pulled off the ultimate chess move. Yes, I believe the 2026 playoffs were thrown by big-market players and teams to prove a point and gain ammo for off-season CBA talks. There's many of you that will dismiss this already and think I'm crazy and that's fine—I don't think the average person understands how contentious discussions regarding a salary cap in this sport is and will be. This is Israel and Palestine. These players will never go down in history as the players that caved and gave a salary cap. The owners are prepared to lose multiple seasons in order to get one. If you think the world is very innocent, and this isn't something the players or the players' union would do, you do not have a true beat on what this moment is, and I have a bridge to sell you. People will call me crazy and point to how good the Brewers and Rays were. Making the World Series isn’t unbelievable—that’s the beauty of what they pulled off. When the CBA talks are in full force and the real shit starts to fly, I promise you that 2026 World Series will be exhibit A, B, and C. No, public perception has not been on the owner side, and I still think a good amount still will be. I think fans and smaller markets want a salary cap—however, the tide has begun to turn on perception, and this World Series has helped. Congratulations to the players and the players' union. Fucking incredible move. Respect.

“Alabama football didn't become Alabama football by celebrating participation trophies or convincing itself that simply showing up was good enough. This program built its reputation on discipline, preparation, toughness, accountability, and an almost relentless pursuit of improvement. Bear Bryant didn't establish a championship tradition by accepting excuses. Gene Stallings didn't lead Alabama to a national championship by lowering expectations. And Nick Saban certainly didn't build the most dominant dynasty of the modern college football era by encouraging everyone to become comfortable with mediocrity. Wanting excellence isn't entitlement. Demanding accountability isn't negativity. And refusing to settle for mediocrity doesn't make someone a spoiled fan. Alabama football has a standard. The fans didn't create it, but we certainly shouldn't be expected to apologize for wanting it upheld.” roundtable.io/sports/ncaa/al… #RollTide

Tom Brady is more successful than you. He is better looking than you. He is richer than you. And yet, this is what he said about life on “60 Minutes” as he reflected on his worldly success: "Why do I have three Super Bowl rings and still think there's something greater out there for me? I mean, maybe a lot of people would say, 'Hey man, you've reached your dream, your goal.' Me, I think, 'God, it's got to be more than this.' I mean, this isn't, this can't be what it's all cracked up to be." When the interviewer asked him what the answer is, Brady responded: “I wish I knew.” My pastor @howertonjosh told this story at service today and it smacked me pretty good. I have had the very uncomfortable experience of achieving worldly success beyond my wildest dreams… only to have this SAME EXACT revelation. I could buy the house, the car, the watch that costs more than the car… and there I was alone in luxury having the terrifying revelation that none of it fulfilled me… like at all. What do you do in a moment like that? Some men will make new worldly goals and chase a bigger number (or more Super Bowl rings). You can run on this hamster wheel until you’re on your death bed. Some more fortunate men go on a journey to find meaning and purpose in this brief existence. But the *most* fortunate of these men come to the conclusion that the only meaning that brings peace and joy in this world comes from the One who created it. It took decades, but I finally found peace and contentment in chasing GOD’S will instead of my own. If you’re lost and desperate to know your purpose, your mission… bend your knee to Lord Jesus and He will reveal it to you. The answer you get might sound scary (or even require sacrifice), but I can assure you, it will be better than any plan you create for yourself. @TomBrady is the GOAT of football. It’s my sincere prayer that he has since found his ultimate purpose and could one day be a powerful instrument to be used for God’s glory. INTO THE BREACH ⚔️

That’s such bush league garbage doing that I would have not played him all of that game that’s for sure
🚨 BREAKING: A Jefferson High School football player charged and CLOTHESLINED a Grant player carrying the American flag as his team ran onto the field. And the Jefferson’s football team CELEBRATED the incident on Instagram! Absolutely DESPICABLE. What does it say about the direction of our country when we’re raising kids who celebrate this kind of behavior instead of condemning it? Where is the accountability?!

Coach DeBoer seriously needs to be fired like your body language is absolutely piss poor and it spreads to your players. I have given you chances but you’re in year 3 and it’s clear that we need to make changes and Byrne didn’t get this one right

Tim Vakakes got emotional when talking about his group of guys after the game. @SpainParkFB wins at the Met for a second straight in the Hoover rivalry. Thrilling back-and-forth game. 280living.com/sports/footbal…

When I passed on Jaxon Smith-Njigba, it was for Puka Nacua or Amon Ra St. Brown, so I did okay But I expected regression from JSN - No Kubiak - No Ken Walker - Tory Horton getting healthy - Shaheed's first full year Turns out JSN just does JSN things because he's J-S-Freaking-N

DeBoer on @haha_cd6 guiding Dijon Lee after the costly penalty: "He’s part of a group with Denzel (Devall) and Josh Chapman that really provide a lot of support to our guys. They support our guys, but they’re lifers here as far as Alabama alums and knowing what it takes. The accountability along with the teaching and things like that, just having a guy like Ha Ha who’s played at a high level here, gone off to the next level and excelled in the NFL. Comes back and can take all those teaching moments and seeing who he had and keep a level head and be there when it matters most to help all of us get through it." al.com/alabamafootball/2026/…

This is why if I ever ride rollercoasters again I would have absolutely NOTHING in my pockets whatsoever because I don’t want my stuff falling out
The incident happened DURING the ride photo which means it had to be this hill after Georgia scorcher. All the b&ms without seatbelts will be getting them at the least after this, right?

That’s really scary I remember growing up in the Atlanta area for a bit and Six Flags over Georgia was absolutely the thing to do now it’s a totally different story
🚨🇺🇸 A person has DIED at Six Flags Over Georgia as riders were being evacuated from a roller coaster. The massive ride standing nearly 200 FEET tall and reaching speeds of 70 MPH, The Goliath, stopped with passengers stranded on the track. The park says it's cooperating with investigators, but the cause of death remains UNKNOWN. Writer: Sol
