2011 GSL World Championship: Korea vs. World After South Korea's colossal dominance in StarCraft Broodwar, the release of the SC2 raised hopes that the Koreans would now have some serious competition. This was to be tested at this tournament: qualifiers were held and some of the best players of the time gathered. The tournament started off well for us before MC took the stage, we leading 4-2 with two wins each take Sen and TT1. But Team Korea had a trump card, which they laid out on the table: MC, arguably the best player in the world at the time, walked into the arena and approached us with his portrait, gesturing that he would destroy us all. Indeed, in the next game, he managed to beat TT1, and then our captain, Artosis, said, "White-Ra, you have to stop him," and I went into battle. The game turned out to be very spectacular and unpredictable. Thanks to special tactics using warp prism, I managed to win, and when leaving the booth, I showed with a gesture that we had broken him :) In the end, the Koreans beat the world team with great difficulty with a score of 8-7, but we showed that they are no longer as invincible as they were in the days of Starcraft! kickstarter.com/projects/whi… #sc2, #starcraft, #streaming #whitera #blizzard #book
