When I started I used to turn up, park immediately outside where I worked. For a list there’d be a SHO/SpR/both. We’d see the patients. There would be things written in the notes & letter saying what we were doing filed in the right place. Now it’s park yonks away, me on my tod, two medical students (can you teach us) and clinical information scattered across multiple sources with often very little/nothing written in physical notes. It’s like working in the police assembling evidence. And we wonder why the NHS is less efficient than it was & lists don’t start on time? Some mystery eh?
