It just occurred to me that if I did a full week of bike commuting it would be about 180km total. And that is why ebikes are awesome.

Unfortunately at the rate bids are going I dont expect the JT to be cheaper than a new frame when the auction closes in four days.
Bid on a sweet steel Jack Taylor frame & fork that I can't really afford, but it's still cheaper than a new Surly frame at this point.
Should be fun living the singlespeed mtb life again for a few days after several months off.
Did some minor maintenance on myNorco Cherokee since I'll be riding it to work for a few days while my Trek is waiting for me in Graham, WA.

As of today 13 straight days of riding and 225 km so far this month. Last year it took me until August to handle that many daily kms.
Nothing like a sidewalk endo face plant to make a morning bike commute memorable. 8 bandaids&2 advil later the bike and I are mostly okay.
