#OTD Saturday 3rd September 1977 Stiff tour dates confirmed on front page of the Melody Maker. It featured Elvis Costello, Ian Dury and Nick Lowe. Tour opened at High Wycombe, Town Hall 3rd October 1977, just four weeks later. Nowadays tours are announced several months ahead!
