$30,000 to $50,000. That's what a merchant doing $1 million a year in card sales pays in processing fees, every single year, without question. WalletConnect Pay runs the same volume at a fraction of that. Same settlement, same compliance, same checkout, completely different math. Merchants pay less. Wallets earn interchange like revenue. Users earn $WCT on every purchase. The value that used to disappear into card networks now flows through the network itself. 50 million $WCT allocated for 2026 rewards. Protocol fees collected and live since June. Billions in weekly volume already moving through these rails. The fee structure that ran payments for 50 years just met its first real competition. It's already losing.

Claude, GPT-5.6, Gemini, Grok and ChatLLM: Which #AI Actually Makes You Faster? Spent three weeks running the same work through five AI systems, and the results broke most of the benchmark predictions. The real lesson: benchmark rank predicts a ceiling, not your actual experience, because most work hits the middle, not the hardest edge case the benchmark was built for. @claudeai Opus 4.8 leads on SWE-bench Verified at 88.6% and SWE-bench Pro at 69.2%, making it the strongest choice when being right matters more than being fast, like client documents, legal reasoning, or complex multi-file code. But that thoroughness is a tax on low-stakes tasks, where it is overkill. @ChatGPT -5.6 Sol, still limited to around 20 partner orgs, scored 83% on FrontierMath v2 Tier 4 versus Claude's 31.25%, and 91.9% on Terminal-Bench 2.0 versus Claude's 74.6%, making it the strongest tool for quantitative and agentic workflows once it reaches general availability. @GeminiApp 3.1 Pro wins on economics, priced far below Claude and GPT-5.5 at scale, handles a 1M token context window, and dominates image processing. It falls short only on the hardest reasoning tasks like GPQA Diamond. @grok 4.5 is the fastest and cheapest for agentic coding loops, but its hallucination rate hit 54% on AA-Omniscience, doubling from the previous version, making it risky for anything requiring factual precision. It is also blocked in the EU. ChatLLM solves the routing problem itself, automatically selecting the right model per task across 20+ models for $10 a month, appealing most to teams juggling multiple subscriptions. The real finding the biggest time loss was not picking the wrong model, it was staying on it too long. The actual skill is recognizing a bad fit fast and switching before an hour gets wasted optimizing around a model's weakness.

Thereโ€™s a lot happening underneath the stablecoin numbers this week. @WalletConnect recorded $4.19B in weekly stablecoin volume, with USDC making up $3.09B, up 19.9%. Ethereum remained the biggest chain with $3.59B in volume, while Arbitrum and Arc also recorded notable activity. USDS jumped 189.1%, and Monad saw a huge 497.2% increase week over week. The market keeps moving, but these numbers show just how active stablecoins continue to be across different chains. gWCT ๐Ÿ”ต

Every generation gets one skill like this. at first it looks optional, then slowly it becomes the basic expectation. computers were that once, then the internet was that a few days ago I went to see a friend and he seemed genuinely excited about something, so I asked what it was he told me the company he works at had installed a camera near a few employees, including him, and he thought it was just some new security thing I already had about 90% of an idea what was actually happening the moment he said it Proves that setup was for recording human behavior specifically to train #AI so that a specialized #robot or #agent could later be deployed for that exact job and category of work my friend had no idea what that actually meant, and I did not tell him either people keep asking if AI is going to replace our jobs, but maybe the real question is whether the person using AI is going to replace the person who does not that is why I found this approach interesting this weekend a free 2 day AI workshop where you learn to build AI agents automate repetitive tasks, create content, and build systems that save you hours every single week and if you want to go deeper after that, there are dedicated workshops for tools like @ChatGPT , @claudeai , and @MSFTCopilot , taught by mentors from @Google , @Adobe , and @Microsoft . over 10 million learners across 160 plus countries have already gone through this.

Everyone uses Video Agent the same basic way, describe a video and hope it turns out right. I built a small workflow around it that changed that completely one where it scripts, builds, and even talks to you mid edit like a real human editor would. I stopped treating Video Agent like a basic text to video tool and started treating it like an actual editor sitting next to me. Here's the exact workflow from choosing your asset and digital twin to letting it flag issues instead of hiding them that made my videos feel handcrafted instead of templated. Sharing the full process below because this one genuinely saved me hours.

Happen weekend ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ ๐ŸŽ‰ something ive never really put into words before there's a difference most people on X never actually separate. some of us are just here for the casual stuff, want a reply, want a bit of engagement, scroll two or three posts and move on, that is a completely normal way to use this platform and there is nothing wrong with it but there is a second kind of person here, and if you are building something, a job, a contract, crypto, AI, tech, finance, any business, you already know which one you are. X is not just a place to post for you anymore, it is actually part of the work and once I started treating it that way, the algorithm started treating me differently too. X runs on consistency now more than anything else. it is not rewarding random posting, it is rewarding people who appear daily doing the exact thing this platform was actually built for I have been living inside this experiment for a while now and honestly every single day feels like uncovering something new, how curiosity works here, what actually makes people stop scrolling, what makes an account's reach quietly shift over time. it is like watching a system reveal its own rules the longer you study it funny enough if I had to start completely over today, I already know exactly where I would begin and how I would build it, even down to the sequence, which says a lot about how much clearer this has become for me just from doing it and here is the part that actually matters, I have watched people in my own circle post purely hoping the algorithm randomly picks their content one day and sends it to millions. that is not how this works then there is another type, the ones treating X like an actual 9 to 5, posting 5 to 10 times a day with an obsession around replies, chasing 500 plus replies daily. I tried that exact pace myself a while back and could not sustain it, I was struggling just to manage replies on my own posts, so how is anyone else pulling it off consistently the real way this works is simpler than people make it. read someone's post, share your actual thoughts, and leave it there. do not expect a reply back the moment you comment. if it comes, great, if it does not, do not take it personally and definitely do not mute or distance yourself from that person over it. it is a strange thing to explain but that person still remembers what you said, still noticed how genuinely curious you were, and eventually they come back to read your thoughts too. the process just keeps repeating quietly like that every niche performs differently here and this entire system was clearly built around rewarding people who understand it, not people who just show up hoping for luck. any real revenue model always ends up favoring the ones who actually study it, not the ones who wait on it I am living proof of that right now, and some people on my own timeline have already shifted how they materialize because of it honestly what I want next is simple, I want my circle filled with people sharper than me, people I can actually learn from, because that is the only way any of us keep getting better at this

Went through @WalletConnect 's latest Townhall updates and this is one of those moments where the data genuinely surprises you. The staking model just changed and it's not a small tweak. The new P4 proposal separates reward weight from stake weight which means APY finally reacts to actual market conditions instead of sitting static. Governable variables mean future adjustments happen through governance from here on no more rewriting contracts every time something needs to shift. That's a structural upgrade. Secondly the monetization update landed and this is the part that made me think the team confirmed they're close to activating the fee mechanism built directly with apps and wallets designed to accelerate network growth instead of taxing it. A new open design space just opened on governance too meaning the community now shapes how $WCT utility and monetization evolve together. That's real decision making power. Zoom out and the ecosystem signals are just as strong. Tron's $USDT volume is increasingly driven by real retail payments and real world assets in emerging markets not speculation. Stablecoin first payment platforms are integrating WalletConnect's SDK for subscription style payments. Self custodial wallets and regulated financial services are finally being treated as complementary the exact shift this industry has needed for years. And quietly in the background quantum resistant wallet security is already being engineered #EVM chains working ahead of the 2029 to 2030 threat window before most people are even asking the question. Built for a 10 to 20 year horizon. Watching it move like this in real time is the kind of update that reminds you why this space is worth paying attention to.

The global regulatory landscape, mapped: EU : broad crypto-asset regime under #MiCA , fully applicable since December 2024 US : federal framework for payment #stablecoins enacted, market-structure law still pending Hong Kong: operative stablecoin-issuer regime UK : regime finalized, takes effect 2027 Singapore, South Korea: frameworks still developing Key dates by jurisdiction: US GENIUS Act โ€” law, effective Jan 18, 2027 (or 120 days after final rules) EU #MiCA โ€” fully applicable since Dec 2024, last grandfathering window closed July 1, 2026 Hong Kong โ€” first licenses granted April 2026, only 2 of 36 applicants approved UK โ€” full regime effective October 2027 Japan โ€” Payment Services Act amendments in force June 2026, broader reform enacted, not yet effective South Korea โ€” phase one in force (2024), phase two pending Brazil โ€” licensing framework in force Feb 2026, cross-border restriction from Oct 2026 UAE โ€” Payment Token Services Regulation in force Bahrain โ€” licensing framework operative The core pattern across every region: obligations land on regulated firms at the point where value enters or exits the system, never on individuals holding their own keys. #SelfCustody doesn't remove oversight, it relocates it. On #AML , #TravelRule , and sanctions: #stablecoins accounted for 84% of illicit virtual-asset transaction volume in 2025 (FATF, March 2026). Travel Rule thresholds sit at $3,000 in the US, $1,000 under FATF baseline, effectively $0 in the EU. OFAC's sanctions list now covers 1,200+ crypto addresses across 17 blockchains. #DeFi remains the least regulated frontier. TVL grew from ~$45B in 2023 to ~$150B by Q2 2025, and no jurisdiction has fully resolved protocol-level regulation. The compliance stack breaks into four layers: user layer (private key control), interface layer (where self-custodial wallets meet regulated entities), obligation layer (where legal accountability sits), and audit layer (signed attestations, Travel Rule data, screening logs). 1.3 billion adults still lack a financial account. ~900 million of them already have a mobile phone. @WalletConnect sits at that interface layer, 900M+ users, 700+ wallets, 80,000+ apps, with WalletConnect Pay running sanctions/IP screening and Travel Rule capture on every payment. Report verified against primary sources through August 17, 2026.
