The whole AI tape got wrecked today, and Bitcoin went with it. Bought a bit of Nvidia. I'm still in on the future of AI. We've seen this a few times now. Whenever the next couple of years of rules get foggy, both tapes sell off together. Short-term vol is policy uncertainty. Not the tech. What about you?

上一条推文发出后，有人说我是因为 Avalon Labs 上了币安才站出来支持。在这里澄清一下：Avalon Labs 并没有上币安。我发那条推文，纯粹是出于对一姐 @heyibinance 这样的职业女性的敬重，敬重她的专业和担当。 Avalon Labs 是 YZi Labs 的被投项目，但即便如此，我们也没能上币安。 你要问我们想不想上？想。每个项目方都想。也正因为太想，我们曾被所谓的"白手套"骗过，蒙受了经济损失。这件事我们向币安法务团队报告过，但至今没有收到任何处理结果，也再没有下文。我觉得这是币安法务可以做得更好的地方。 经历了这件事，我们反而释怀了。如果一个 startup 创立的初心就是上币安，那币安不上你，是应该的。这样的项目，注定是"一次性"的。 我们不是。我们有长远的目标，想做出真正有改变意义的事情。上币安是结果，不是目的。事情做对了，能被 list 是我们的荣幸；没被 list，我们也一直在朝更大的方向走：市场、用户、收入，而不是币安。 当然，作为项目方，我们也和官方 listing 团队正式接触过。最后，listing 团队选择了另一个当时连主网都还没上线的项目。那时 Avalon Labs 的用户量和数据都是对方的好几倍。如果标准是公开的，这个结果本可以解释清楚；但我们至今不知道，它依据的是什么标准。我们不甘心过，也失望过，但收拾好情绪，就该继续往前看。 币安的上币流程，确实可以做得更好。作为当之无愧的行业龙头，币安有能力也有责任设定行业标准，带着整个行业走向更合规、更透明。上币标准可以像纳斯达克那样公开透明，每个层级的要求清晰统一。 币安的问题不是没有标准，而是标准没有被一致地执行。我们当年和上币团队沟通时，一再希望确认标准，却始终没有得到明确的答案。后来拿到的标准，又和已上币项目实际达到的情况并不一致。这给项目方留下的印象是：想list你的时候，没有标准；不想list你的时候，就有了标准。 以防有人断章取义：我不是在揭什么黑幕，只是结合我们自己的经历，给币安、给一姐一线的反馈。在这件事上攻击一姐，没有意义。一家公司规模越大，管理者越不可能、也不应该事事过问。微观管理是管理者要避免的，越级插手执行也是红线。这不是一姐不愿意管，而是任何一家大公司的执行，最终都要靠制度和流程。制度不可能完美，所以才需要不断迭代。 最后，真心希望币安越来越好，带着整个行业驶向那片蓝海。 @heyibinance @cz_binance

10/29 币安被盗事件又给全行业敲了一次警钟。被攻破的不一定是代码。所有的创始人、开发团队，甚至是运营、HR等等看似离代码很远的岗位，每个人都可能是黑客的突破口。 2024年11月，我们面试过一个前端开发人员。我们收到的是中文简历，中文名字。履历里面记录了他在Bybit, 阿里巴巴等工作经历。在面试的时候，我们发现他的口音是韩式英文，并且不会说中文。我们要求他打开摄像头，摄像头那端，他的像素模糊，画面质感像15年前的摄像头。他带着头戴式耳机，有刘海，和下面截图的这个人非常相似。 我问他会不会说中文，他说不会。我问他是哪里人，他说是日本人。然后我问他在中国和新加坡的工作经历，他含糊其辞。几轮交流下来，我们怀疑他是不是朝鲜黑客，于是结束了面试。从他的简历和背景来看，造假的概率很高。 事情过去了接近两年，今天看到这张照片恍然大悟。 也在此给所有的项目方提醒：面试一定要求开摄像头，PDF不要轻易下载。一定要让全公司的同事都有安全防范意识，不要留下弱点让黑客攻击。 最后，希望加密社区团结一致。我们都在这里支持币安 @cz_binance @heyibinance @zachxbt

Congrats Prof. Huang! Before any self-improvement kicks in, the harness alone — open weights, zero training — is already at 71.97 on OSWorld 2.0 and 83.75 on Agents' Last Exam. Frontier territory, from architecture rather than parameters. RSI then adds on top of that. Two separate results in one table, and the quieter one is doing a lot of work: how you structure the agent is now worth as much as which model you put inside it. Excited to see where the causal line goes next.

~90% chance of a 25bps hike at 2pm. So today's print is already in the price. The real trade is Warsh's guidance, one-and-done, or higher-for-longer as the base case? Credit and BTC don't care about 25bps. They care what funding costs look like for the next year. Watch the path. Not the hike.

Clarity Act failed. 49–50. Needed 60. Not close. BTC dipped. Timeline moved on to the Fed. So stop refreshing the Senate floor. The bill didn’t give you clarity, and waiting for Congress won’t either.

Fed hike tomorrow looks ~90%. 25 bps is basically priced. Bonds already moved. Lending costs are next. Stocks can still pretend it’s “in the price.” So the rate hike isn’t the story anymore. Don’t wait for it.

Most AI progress is still “a higher score on the same exam.” Recursive self-improvement is different. The system doesn’t just answer harder questions, it starts improving the methods that make it smarter. If Shanghai AI Lab’s roadmap is even half right, the scarce thing won’t be another benchmark to brag about. It’ll be judgment: when to let that loop keep running… and when to cut power.
