.@StraitsX now powers 75% of all globally tracked stablecoin card transactions. Demand across emerging markets is accelerating, and this is still early.
We’re building to expand real financial access for both global users and underbanked communities at scale. 75% is progress. Our next target is 80%, and we won’t stop there.
Cards are just the start. We’re expanding on our full payments and stablecoin stack designed for global leadership, and we’ll keep pushing until it gets there.
First stop: @money2020 Las Vegas. See you there!

If you’re doing business in Asia, there’s one culture you cannot avoid: KTV.
And no, I’m not talking about regular karaoke. I’m talking about private rooms where you and your clients drink, sing, and pay for girls (or guys) to keep you company.
China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand… different versions of the same thing. And if you can’t play along, you might find yourself left out of some pretty important business meetings. 🤷🏻♀️
If you didn’t grow up here, your first experience can be a real culture shock.
The mamasan walks in with a lineup, asks you to pick, and suddenly you’re sitting there with someone awkwardly, not knowing where to look or what to do.
I got dragged into a few of these KTV nights in Singapore last week, and here’s my little survival hack that has never failed:
Always pick the one who LOVES singing.
Seriously. Find the girl or guy who’s genuinely obsessed with the microphone.
They’ll happily sing all night. Duets with your business partners, solo performances, fighting for the mic… they’ll basically entertain themselves for hours.
Meanwhile, you don’t have to make small talk, flirt, or keep drinking with someone you barely know.
You fit right in, your business partner think you belong, your companion is having the time of their life, and you survive the entire night without a single awkward moment.
Everybody wins. You’re welcome.

They should make one for Ostium but instead of a fleshlight it's a dildo because they've fucked their users

Still early and rough around the edges. Give it a try and tell me what you think.

Stopped reading at “We pioneered the category” because this is such disrespect to @gains_trade
Not only did you fork their codebase, now you claim to have pioneered RWA perps even though Gains had it years before you did?
On July 15th, Ostium was attacked and roughly $23.75M was taken from the vault. OLP holders bore that loss, and for the two months that followed, you heard far too little from us. That was a mistake, and I take responsibility for the silence.
We started Ostium four and a half years ago, right out of college, because we believed Real World Asset perpetuals would be the next killer product to come out of crypto after stablecoins. I believe that as much today as I did then.
We pioneered the category. Before the attack we had the second-highest open interest among RWA perp venues and a strong base of core traders. But we were also spread across too many competing priorities, and had begun working to refocus the protocol.
The attack forced a decision. We could try to restart everything we'd been doing as quickly as possible, or we could use the moment to build a more focused company. We chose the second. That took longer than it should have to communicate, because recovery, resource allocation, and the future of the business all depended on the same question: what company are we building from here?
In trying to have every answer before we spoke, we left you without the information you needed at the moment you needed it most. That made a hard situation worse.
I know there's been a lot of speculation about what we were doing. We went quiet, but we didn’t go anywhere. Since July, the team has been developing the next iteration of our trading stack from the ground up, rebuilding our operational and legal footing, and working through significant setbacks, all while sharpening Ostium into a more focused company.
I know this plan isn't what many of you hoped for, especially those with larger losses. Meaningful recovery can only come from Ostium's growth, and Stage 2 will give affected holders a stake in it.
Thank you to our team, and to everyone who waited for answers you deserved sooner. Our core leadership and senior engineering team remains intact and more committed than ever.
Going forward, we will build in the open. We’ll share technical details early on, and will be more incremental than polished. We won't wait until every answer is in hand.
We took a hard hit, but we're very much still here. Tomorrow, we'll share what we've been building since July and where Ostium goes next.
