This is your children's debt and therefore their future. If you continue to consent to this, you are consenting to a shit future for them and thus you are a fucking coward.
The TaxPayers’ Alliance revealed this week that public sector debt has breached £3 trillion. But that is only part of the story. What the Government is not acknowledging is the vast mountain of additional liabilities it has accumulated, obligations that will ultimately have to be paid. The real national debt is far worse, standing at £11.7 trillion.

In 2001, the Swiss implemented fiscal rules to avoid big government expansion. They want smaller government and wealthier individuals. They are pro business, pro growth and pro investment. They seek to attract wealthy individuals and highly skilled people. Taxes as a percentage of GDP sits at 27%. Vs France/Germany and UKs 35%+. No CGT, Lower dividend and Corp taxes, no IHT. If the anti-wealth brigade were correct about how the economy works, Switzerland would be descending into a hellscape by now. According to @garyseconomics we should be seeing people starving and freezing in Switzerland. Instead it’s high tax France, Germany and UK with civil unrest and widening poverty. It’s almost as if wealth is actually a good thing.

Can we honestly say we have exhausted every possibility of making Britain successful outside the EU, before jumping back into the reversal debate? Brexit was a vote, not an economic strategy or magic pill. It was poorly implemented, a choice was made to leave the Single Market and Customs Union. Once out, what should have followed was a serious 10 year strategy for growth: investment, productivity, energy, manufacturing, skills, regional development, deregulation where it genuinely helps, and a close trading relationship with Europe, while excersing greater autonomy. Were all options and opportunities exhausted since the exit, or have we just waited long enough to pronounce it a failure, and jump back in?

After weighing it up, we’re confirming for Leeds United fans as the country’s best overall away fans. Everyone likes to have a laugh at them, but unfortunately, at the minute, they're just a really well-run football club with a massive fan base 👏

EXCLUSIVE: Tan Ikram, deputy chief magistrate, is an adviser to a Pakistani organisation that referred to “so-called ‘grooming gangs’” and called Suella Braverman’s comments about British-Pakistani gangs “reprehensible”. My investigation reveals: • He targeted Bradford to encourage Pakistani lawyers to become judges: “[Bradford has] lots and lots of Pakistani practitioners… I specifically went there to reach out to that particular group of lawyers.” • He is listed as an adviser to the British Pakistan Foundation, which attacked Braverman over her grooming-gang comments and condemned the “collective punishment of the Palestinians” following October 7. Ikram spared three women punishment for a terrorism offence involving paraglider images. • Grooming gang survivor Fiona Goddard called his association with the foundation “deeply concerning”, asking: “Why is a senior judge connected to such a partisan group?” • He helped organise a meeting between judges and senior imams at the Old Bailey. • He sits on the Judicial Appointments Commission and has helped edit the guidance judges use on race and cultural differences. • He said he used his ethnicity as “a bit of an advantage” in his legal career. He also said his mother “today doesn’t really speak English”, despite coming to Britain in the early 1960s. I’ve examined his speeches, interviews, links to Pakistani and Muslim groups and rulings. They call the English a mongrel people... 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 The science says something better. 🧪👨‍🔬 In 2015 scientists in Oxford tested 2,039 people. Only people whose 4 grandparents were all born within 50 miles of each other. So the map they drew wasn't Britain today. It was Britain in 1885. Before anyone moved. 17 groups across these islands. 🗺️ Cornwall. Wales in pieces. The north. Scotland in pieces. Orkney. And the English were one. One people from Kent to Yorkshire. One group, where everywhere else on the map was many. So where did they come from? In 2022 they went to the graves. ⚱️ 278 people who died here 1,500 years ago. They read what was in them. 3 streams. The Britons who were already here before the Romans. The families who crossed the North Sea after the Romans left. Whole families. As many women as men. Not a wipe-out. They married in. And a third stream from across the Channel, over centuries. 3 streams. 1 river. 🌊 By the Middle Ages the mixing had settled. The map of 1885 still showed it, 900 years on. Same fields. Same church. Same names on the gravestones. That's not a mongrel. A mongrel is a mix nobody meant. This is a recipe. 3 ingredients. 1,000 years to set. 🏺 And here's the part that matters. A lineage isn't a wall. It's a line. People who kept the same place and the same ways, then handed them on. The Normans joined it. The Huguenots joined it. Anyone can. The price is keeping it. They teach you the English are a mixture. So is every people on earth. What they don't teach you is what it became. 1,500 years on the same ground. Not many can say that. That's why Proud Of Us is here. To teach the next generation who we really are. No sponsors. No ads. No agenda. Just people like you. If you can, stand with us. If you can't, send this to someone who's never been told. They said mongrel. That doesn't change a thousand years of lineage. It just means nobody told them. Let's teach our next Generation the truth.👇 👉proudofus.co.uk/support 👈 Be Part Of Us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

.@RibbitCapital changed its X PFP from black & green to black & white for 24 hours last week. 🟢⚪️🟢 Was that the signal that the SEC had “whitelisted” them? 🫡 @mickymalka posted on the 33rd 🐸 minute: “This is the path to making better money a reality. We have all the infra to make it happen.” Ribbit has been hugely influential in shaping these rules through Sigal Mandelker—once again leading the way on innovation. Nothing compares to what we’re about to see.

I think @bot is another “Claude Code” moment for AI. I would estimate my personal AI usage is up something like 100x. And for everyone who reached out about how to build a “podcast summarizer” it took me about 15 seconds in Grok Bot and is better than what I had before.
