Ever since hosting the Forum & AMAs at Sushi, many have asked if I continued podcasting or hosting shows.
Today, that changes as I finally reveal the long-overdue podcast!
The Tangle Collective will start by featuring shows with prominent figures from the digital asset and blockchain community. Over time, it will expand to include educational content, clips, and written materials.
Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge about this ecosystem and participated in many inspiring conversations. Few of these have been recorded. As a result, I aim to track ideas and insights and turn them into deep, meaningful content.
Join me on this journey as we explore a variety of topics from a diverse group in this industry.

30 years of Super Mario 64 and I genuinely don’t think people who weren’t there can understand just how magical this game felt.
Walking into Peach’s Castle for the first time. Hearing the music. Running down those hallways, finding a painting, and realizing you could literally JUMP INTO IT and enter an entirely different world.
Every door was a mystery. Every painting was a new adventure. Every star felt like you’d discovered something nobody else had.
The first time you flew with the Wing Cap. Racing that stupid penguin down the slide. Swimming through Dire, Dire Docks. Running around Bobomb Battlefield with absolutely no idea what you were supposed to be doing, but somehow having the time of your life.
And the music. God, the music.
There was no YouTube tutorial telling you where to go. No internet spoiling every secret before you found it. Just you, your N64, and an entire new game to be explored.
I think what makes me emotional looking back is realizing we weren’t just experiencing one of the greatest leaps in gaming history. We were experiencing a kind of childhood wonder you can never quite get back. Those mornings sitting on the floor in front of the TV, completely lost in a world that felt so big.
I can still hear the castle music and immediately feel like a kid again.
This number is never going to get smaller as long as the industry keeps using custodians.
We stand a chance by building better UX for decentralized and permissionless options.
Custody will sadly end in exploits.
There is no safe CEX. Custody your assets kids.

On this alone, I welcome the Conservatives.
Trump is attacking our jobs, driving up our costs and threatening our ability to make decisions for ourselves, in our own country, for our own people. He wants to make Canada and B.C. an extension of America.
For B.C. and for Canada, this is an existential moment. We have to decide as a province how we respond, and British Columbians deserve a say.
That's why today I called an election for October 24.
When Trump came after Canada, I didn't flinch. We pulled American liquor off the shelves and hit back where it hurt.
I'm working with the Prime Minister to hold the line, and we've got a plan to stand up to Trump, protect workers and businesses, and build a stronger B.C. that's less dependent on the U.S.
It's making a difference. But the job is far from done.
The conservative parties would cozy up to Trump, make cuts, raise costs and invite U.S. corporations into our health care. With Trump at our door, we cannot afford their chaos.
That's the choice in front of us.
Join me in standing up for Canada, in saying hell no to Donald Trump and his politics, and in building a stronger B.C. for all of us.

With @Trueo_ coming home to @ethereum, this is like the Hero's journey. We encountered many lessons along the way, but ultimately learned a lot.
One thing worth mentioning is how fast and cheap execution wasn't always possible on Mainnet, but that has and continues to change and improve.
Mainnet plans to get cheaper and more scalable in the future, and we will be here ready for it 🤝

Over the long weekend a contentious Trueo market was resolved by a Jury vote.
Only the second market to escalate that far.
Honestly, something about the whole process was deeply satisfying.
So I decided to write this post despite the market having relatively low volume.
The contract was about whether Iran had attacked a shipping vessel in the Strait of Hormuz between Aug/23rd and Sept/1st.
But as always with prediction markets, the devil is in the details.
The criteria for a YES outcome required that two of the sources listed in the rules both confirm AND attribute an attack to Iran.
During the week in question there was no doubt that vessels attempting to transit the strait were attacked in one way or another.
There were several confirmed incidents, and even one which was later revealed to involve fatalities.
The source of the contention wasn’t about confirmation of attacks, but rather it was about attribution.
One side argued that the attacks weren’t definitively attributed to Iran, and instead only hinted at by the news outlets covering the incidents.
This is where having a really robust dispute resolution system matters.
The US gov and CENTCOM were actively denying Iranian attacks.
They denied it because it’s in their political interest to avoid any negative press that can cause unrest in the Oil markets and undermine their messaging that the waterway is under their control.
Events like this are particularly tricky because there’s a strong incentive to suppress the truth.
This makes resolving outcomes for such events, which btw are of significant public interest, that much harder.
Anyway, our AI resolution indicator agreed with a YES outcome, but the disputer asserted that the responses they received from various models did not concur with that result.
Despite the fact that the majority of voting TRUE holders were in favor of the proposed YES outcome, the disputer held enough voting power to request a jury verdict.
So our Attesters were called to action and had to manually review the market rules, query AI models independently, and submit a secret ballot which was only revealed once enough votes were tallied.
In the end, the market finalized to YES.
But it wasn’t without due process.
The disputer also wasn’t slashed for any of their posted bonds because they had a legitimate argument.
That last point matters a lot.
If an oracle forces punishment for not succeeding in a dispute, then the oracle is effectively disincentivizing legitimate claims and the submission of supporting evidence.
Things that are essential to truth seeking.
Trueo’s greatest strength is its oracle which can resolve markets fairly and truthfully for virtually any event. Even ones that seem inconsequential.
No dispute is unimportant on Trueo!

One thing before I start: everything in this post is public information from my own docket. None of it is new, and I'm not revealing anything you can't already find in the court filings yourself.
The retrial just got pushed to April 26, 2027. The order came down today (Dkt. 300). My acquittal motion is still sitting there, undecided. I honestly don't know when this ends.
Prosecutors are supposed to protect American interests and go after people who broke the law. A jury deadlocked on the two most serious counts against me. And still SDNY won't stop, because this case was never just about me. It's about setting an example.
Don't take my word for it. Tara La Morte, the chief of SDNY's Illicit Finance and Money Laundering Unit, said it herself at a New York City Bar Association event (Law360, Feb. 23, 2024; filed on my docket as Doc. 25-2):
"We want the industry to take notice."
"What we're trying to do is sort of bring the industry into compliance, and I think Tornado Cash is an example of that."
An example. Out of a developer who wrote code.
At that same event, her deputy praised the government's blockchain-tracing partner, Chainalysis.
Here is what they didn't tell the audience. All of it is from the public docket in my case.
According to the trial transcripts, Chainalysis was running its OWN Tornado Cash relayer, and earning fees on the transactions flowing through it.
- Chainalysis's own lawyers admitted to "a relayer node that Chainalysis operated"; my subpoena sought documents on Tornado Cash relayer(s) "used from March to August 2022." (Dkt. 211)
- In open court, the prosecutor said it plainly: "I think the parties agree as to that part of the testimony, that the Chainalysis relayer earned fees." Same hearing: "there's zero evidence that the defendant was in any way aware that Chainalysis was running a relayer." (Dkt. 259, July 25, 2025)
So the company that helped trace my "criminal" transactions was itself profiting from Tornado Cash transactions, while I was prosecuted over software I helped create.
And when my lawyers subpoenaed them to testify?
- Chainalysis moved to quash. (Dkt. 211)
- The government backed them: "Your Honor, we agree with the position outlined in the motion." (Dkt. 255)
- The night before, prosecutors called Chainalysis's counsel. The judge asked point-blank: "Did you let them know that they were potentially subject to investigation or prosecution?" The answer: "We have discussed at a high level some of the issues surrounding the relayer with Chainalysis." (Dkt. 259)
- The Chainalysis witness took the Fifth. My lawyers learned about that call only afterward, from Chainalysis's own lawyer. (Dkt. 263)
The jury never heard any of it.
This spring, at the Bitcoin 2026 conference in Las Vegas, something happened that I still can't quite believe. The Acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche, and the FBI Director, Kash Patel, sat on a panel called "Code is Free Speech."
Think about that. The two top law enforcement officials in the country. Blanche told thousands of developers: if you're a coder and you're not the one committing the crime, "you are not going to be investigated and not going to be charged." He said the last administration's crypto cases were "outrageous attacks on the industry." Patel praised "the Chainalysises of the world" as FBI partners.
And when the moderator pointed at the elephant in the room, my case, Tornado Cash, Roman Storm, the Acting Attorney General called it a "lingering case" they are "continuing to deal with."
So here is my hypothetical question. If code is free speech, why am I still being prosecuted for writing it? And if the Chainalysises of the world are the partners, the same Chainalysis that ran its own Tornado Cash relayer and earned fees from Tornado Cash users, while I never did, why is it off the hook?
They made an example out of a developer for writing code. Their own vendor ran the same infrastructure, pocketed the fees, and got a phone call instead of a prosecution.
