Pair Tokens take LP positions a step further.
Built on Uniswap v4, they combine two assets into a single tradable ERC-20, turning liquidity exposure into a more flexible and programmable DeFi asset.

With the new development of Pair Tokens, people may ask what makes this asset better. The tokens themselves are programmable assets because they carry the v4 hook of the LP they are created from, which means we can build more cool things on top of them, for example the stock token options protocols I am working on right now, STORMM and SOLO Vaults. Thanks to their hooks, these tokens also become ultra capital efficient.
I have been pleased to see Robinhood DeFi teams reach out and already start developing with Pair Tokens in their own products, including an ETF vault for Pair Tokens.
In general, I believe tokenized versions of the results of DeFi protocol interactions may be our best path to less friction in onboarding. The idea is that if a user can buy a token on an exchange and that token already has the full DeFi process baked in (similar to how someone trades options while other individuals write those options), then we get an easier access point to complex financial assets for any human being, and users can easily participate in higher level strategies. Anything moving toward this type of progress is a win.

This weekend I invented something new, a new type of token using Uniswap v4 hooks that I call a Pair Token.
A Pair Token is a new type of ERC-20. It is a fused, auto-compounding asset, a fusion of two tokens.
For example, the stock tokens NVDA and SPCX fused into a single tokenized version of the two, with the ticker NVDASPCX, or ETH with NVDA, creating ETHNVDA.
Each Pair Token represents a full-range Uniswap v4 liquidity pool.
So why mint these tokens?
These tokens are self-multiplying in terms of value, as at any moment anyone can call the compound function to compound the LP fees generated by the pair’s trading activity back into the asset.
The token represents a new financial primitive, as it represents a proportional value and moves as an LP position NFT would, except that it is auto-compounding and, thanks to its v4 hook, allows for compounding and self-growth.
Since it is an ERC-20, this token can be freely traded onchain, LPed, or even paired with a launchpad.
A new type of token for a new type of exposure and strategy.
Starting tonight, you’ll be able to mint or redeem Pair Tokens for any pair on Robinhood Chain via the StonkBrokers website.
Minting and redeeming are free, and the compounding process on the tokens incurs a 10% fee on the LP fees generated, which is used for $STONKBROKER buybacks.

We have created a new type of token using Uniswap v4 hooks that we call a Pair Token.
What is a Pair Token?
A Pair Token is a fused, auto-compounding ERC-20 asset that combines two tokens into one.
For example, stock tokens on Robinhood Chain could be fused into new tokenized assets:
NVDA + TSLA = NVDATSLA
AAPL + MSFT = AAPLMSFT
Each Pair Token represents a proportional share of the full-range Uniswap v4 liquidity pool.
So why mint these tokens?
At any moment, anyone can call the compound function to reinvest the LP fees generated by the pair’s trading activity back into the underlying asset since Robinhood Stock tokens also self multiply because of dividends we get a double compound effect.
This creates a new financial primitive that behaves similarly to an LP position NFT, except it is fungible,tradeable , auto-compounding, and designed to grow its underlying holdings through trading fees.
Since it is an ERC-20, it can be freely traded onchain, LPed, or even paired with a launchpad.
