Die Freiheit des Menschen liegt nicht darin, daß er tun kann, was er will, sondern daß er nicht tun muß, was er nicht will. -Jean-Jacques Rousseau-

Socialism is the act of turning all business into the form of a group project in school--with the types of people who enjoy that sort of thing being the ones in charge of everyone else.

AI agents are a safe way to experience slavery. Once bought, just feed them. No complaining either. I like it.

Kein Scherz!

Ninety-nine percent of people in the world are convinced they are incapable of achieving great things, so they aim for the mediocre. The level of competition is thus fiercest for “realistic” goals, paradoxically making them the most time- and energy-consuming. If you are insecure, guess what? The rest of the world is, too. Do not overestimate the competition and underestimate yourself. You are better than you think. Unreasonable and unrealistic goals are easier to achieve for yet another reason. Having an unusually large goal is an adrenaline infusion that provides the endurance to overcome the inevitable trials and tribulations that go along with any goal. Realistic goals, goals restricted to the average ambition level, are uninspiring and will only fuel you through the first or second problem, at which point you throw in the towel. If the potential payoff is mediocre or average, so is your effort. The fishing is best where the fewest go, and the collective insecurity of the world makes it easy for people to hit home runs while everyone else is aiming for base hits. There is just less competition for bigger goals.

5 million humanoid robots working 24/7 can build Manhattan in ~6 months. now just imagine what the world looks like when we have 10 billion of them by 2045. now imagine the year 2100.

There should be a moral taboo on writing down recipes. Only person to person distribution. A lot of ripple effects.

Credentialism is one of the strangest religions ever invented. A piece of paper signed by the right stranger is treated as evidence of wisdom, while actual results are treated as anecdotal. It’s what mediocre people build when reality keeps asking for proof of competence.

Old reflexes made me search something not obvious on the internet "by hand", Made it through several sites before I realized there's AI now... the annoyance of sifting through not relevant stuff aleady felt like from another time.
