That’s when Marc looked at me and said, ‘How come your movement and decisions are this good and so quick?’ He said, ‘It’s just training and you’re stressing me this much?’ (laughs) I told him, ‘With Flick, we take training very seriously. He teaches us so much about pressing, timing and forcing defenders into mistakes. That’s the manager’s impact.’ He laughed and said, ‘You were actually scaring me. Next time you run at me that fast and force me into a mistake, I’m breaking your leg!’ We were joking, of course, and I told him he better be ready when we meet in the Champions League. He also congratulated me on joining Barcelona. Most of the lads here see Barça as the highest level, so they always congratulate me and ask questions about the club.”
