Busy as always today with 106 guests. One of our regulars has been found dead in his tent this week, released from Prison less than two weeks ago, no press coverage, nothing ! 2026 and we still have people dying on the streets of Manchester #SoSad 😢

Red Door centre volunteer, Diane, produced a brilliant Stoptober noticeboard for us - we think it looks great! We've lots of other activities going on this month to support people with stopping smoking & improving wellbeing, as well as cancer awareness: caritassalford.org.uk/RedDoo…

A great day at Daikin’s Manchester offices exploring opportunities, apprenticeships, college courses and jobs with Daikin & Temperate Control who supplied our air source heat pumps and heating at the village for free. Thank you to the Manchester College team for your help.

At a recent Cook Well session at our Red Door centre, people made quiche with ingredients of their choice - from bacon & onion to mushrooms, cheese & ham - followed by jam tarts. The sessions bring people together to support each other & have fun. caritassalford.org.uk/RedDoo…
