Publishing our data on OpenStreetMap is an important milestone in making the information accessible to more people, solving a critical data gap about mobility and public transportation in Lagos.

We are happy to share that our #LagosFerryMap data will soon be live on @openstreetmap!
Thanks to a partnership with @openmapping_wna @hotosm, experienced volunteers from the OSM community in Nigeria trained our team to process and upload the ferry data.

Check out the mind-blowing experiments of @dante_leoncini, a 3D Artist and Programmer, who managed to run Blender on an 18-year-old Nokia phone.
Now I've seen everything: 80.lv/articles/this-madlad-p…

Hello @MTN180 I have not been able to check my data balance. Sent 2 to 312 which I always do and it returned error. Went through the 312 manage data option, it returned service not available.

The most annoying part of academic writing is knowing the thing, but looking for some other paper to say it for you. You can't just say bread is soft, you have to say it according to Baker (2001) that bread is soft.
At the same time, you can't quote Baker 2001 because it's outdated. Although bread did not stop being soft, you have to find another Baker who said it in 2023.

I don't know what to call @AirtelNigeria because why is it hard to check simple data balance.
I'll soon throw the line into the bin where I originally threw it.

I reread @jk_rowling’s 2008 Harvard speech a lot, especially this line:
“There is an expiry date on blaming your parents for steering you in the wrong direction; the moment you are old enough to take the wheel, responsibility lies with you.”

Posting maps on Twitter is great, but recruiters won't sit and scroll through your profile. Curate them on a spatial portfolio like @spatialnodehq and also share on Twitter.
Win win.
