Just to explain my position. 1) I'm very happy for the people who got hundos ans shundos. For a lot of people this will be a core memory of their Pokemon GO adventure. 2) Kudos to Scopely for listening to their player base and genuinely attempting to correct their mistake from NYC. 3) Free hundos should never, ever, be handed out to everyone. The point of the game, in my opinion, is to go outside, grind hard, hope luck is on your side and to have you and your friends get different awesome, low RNG stuff for your collections — such as a hundo Mewtwo. Handing this out for free really damages that point. 4) And this is my by far biggest issue with this drop — it should absolutely not have been shiny eligible. They took something that is supposed to have a 1/17,280 chance of happening and turned it into a 1/20. The fact that I could create a brand new account — an account with zero mileage, zero grind and zero money spent and within the space of 2 minutes I'll have a 5% chance of having a shundo background of the best Pokemon in the game — is something that should absolutely NEVER happen in this game. They should have given everyone a free shiny background Mewtwo with a normal 1/216 chance of being a hundo. I swear that would have been more than enough. My personal feeling — which I'm allowed to have — is that Mewtwo as a pokemon has lost a lot of it's worth after this — and that's a pretty sh*tty feeling to have about your favorite pokemon that I've raided over 2,000 times this summer alone.
