The Washington Teachers' Union is hosting Community Conversations in every Ward. We want to hear from parents, students, educators, and various community stakeholders to collectively develop a vision of strong public education in the District.

The Washington Teachers' Union and the Ward 5 Education Equity Committee invite you to a Community Conversation on challenges, solutions and priorities in DC public education. In DC's Ward 5 on Tuesday, 10/20 6-8 PM at Luke C. Moore High School in #Brookland.
Nearly 60 educators, parents, students, elected officials, and community members joined our first Community Conversation last night!
They shared their experiences, brainstormed solutions, and helped shape a vision for the future of DCPS.
And we’re just getting started.

Our first two Community Conversations are coming up for Ward 1/2 (Oct. 6th from 6-8PM @ CHEC) and northern Ward 8 (Oct. 8th from 6-8PM @ Savoy ES).
