Marilyn Chambers casually strolling by a poster for 'Carrie' (1976) in David Cronenberg's 'Rabid' (1977). I can't think of a higher form of praise.

After the untimely death of Bernard Herrmann, Brian De Palma needed a new composer to collaborate with. Luckily he found Pino Donaggio with whom he would work on nine movies.

In a movie that features its fair share of slapping scenes, Nancy Allen and Betty Buckley ended up shooting their slap scene in 'Carrie' (1976) about 30 times before they nailed it.

Always a pleasure when you get to the end of a 3 hour film like 'You Can See Everything' and feel an irresistible urge to watch it all over again. Co-Directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim knocked this one right out of the park. My review: youtube.com/watch?v=gBcRZ-7Q…

Kenn Russell's fully restored uncut version of 'The Devils' (1971) is back in theaters for a week starting today. Cancel your plans and make time to see it while you can. Easily the best movie you'll see in a theater this year.
Having now seen the fully restored director’s cut of Ken Russell’s ‘The Devils’, I have to say this is the best movie experience of 2026 with no close rival and perhaps the best movie of 1971 as well. My review:

So true, dear Guy. Aldous Huxley has been my favourite writer since I was 12. So it's an extra delight to think they pulled it off together!
…which leads me to Ken Russell’s The Devils. .. anyone who says Russell’s
film is over the top , has more than likely never read the historical text by Aldous Huxley, which the film is adapted from… the real story & afterwords is far more bizarre than the film. @awhitetable

If you love Clive Barker's 'The Hellbound Heart' and 'Hellraiser' and have always craved a first person experience set in that world, 'Hellraiser: Revival' delivers some surprisingly sadomasochistic thrills for gamers. My review: youtube.com/watch?v=ZSitJzrw…
