ALT A giant faux bronze 9 foot tall statue of Elon Musk, intentionally designed to resemble a poorly drawn meme of him, was commissioned as part of a promotional effort by the group ElonRWA and created by WhiteClouds. The original 5 year old meme, which gained popularity after Musk humorously compared it to looking in a mirror, was turned into an NFT by the group. The statue, towed by a Cybertruck in Texas over the weekend, is meant to draw attention to this NFT, which ElonRWA is marketing as a "real-world asset meme-coin." The group has also provided a blockchain wallet address for purchasing a fraction of this digital asset.
