What do you use when a truck can't get through, a boat can't reach the shore and a road no longer exists?
WFP uses all-terrain vehicles.
Able to travel through water, mud and wetlands, and carry up to 1.5 metric tons of cargo, these amphibious vehicles help WFP deliver assistance where conventional transport can't.
By overcoming some of the biggest logistical barriers in humanitarian operations, these amphibious vehicles can help reduce delivery costs and expand access to communities that are difficult to reach.

🚨 Due to funding shortages, WFP is forced to reduce food assistance in Gaza by around one-third, meaning half a million people will lose access to critical aid.
The cuts come as winter approaches and the recent modest improvements in food security remain fragile.
From this month, we are supporting 1.1 million of the most vulnerable people in Gaza with food and cash assistance, down from 1.6 million last month. Food rations will also be cut by half.
WFP urgently calls for additional funding in order to keep reaching the most vulnerable in Gaza and the West Bank.

Urgent support is needed to keep reaching the most vulnerable.

Acting before families lose their livelihoods can prevent a worsening crisis.
How do you deliver food at the scale of WFP?
New digital tools are helping WFP forecast needs, optimize supply chains and coordinate operations across the world's largest humanitarian network, making it easier to get food where it's needed, when it's needed.

What does innovation look like in a humanitarian emergency? Sometimes, it's as simple as a card.
WFP's Rescue Card helps deliver assistance in as little as 72 hours, helping families access food and essentials faster when crises strike. In 2025 alone, it reached more than 88,000 people across five countries, showing how a simple solution can speed up support at scale.

🚨 #Yemen: Escalating conflict has cut WFP’s access to 800,000 people.
Shifting frontlines, blocked roads and insecurity are restricting humanitarian access, while food supplies run dangerously low in some of the hardest-hit areas.
WFP is responding wherever access allows, but safe, sustained access and urgent funding are critical to reach those most in need.

WFP has the capacity, partners and dedicated teams to respond. What’s needed now is additional support to keep that response going.

Humanitarian workers, facilities and supplies are #NotATarget.
Yesterday @WFP partner warehouse in Kharkiv region was attacked.
2 people were injured & remain in stable condition. 1,950 food boxes intended for people in Donetsk region were damaged, putting vital food aid at risk.
Humanitarian workers, facilities & aid must never be targeted.
🚨Escalating conflict in Yemen is cutting off life-saving assistance to 800,000 people in Taiz.
WFP is providing emergency assistance where it can and stands ready to scale up as access allows, but safe and sustained humanitarian access, together with urgent funding, is critical.
