🌳On Monday a reception was held at Downing St to celebrate 20 years of parkrun.
Our Jonathan was one of the lucky few to receive an invitation.
He was privileged to be able to be there, and represent all of the Wallace parkrun community.

On Monday we held a special event at 10 Downing Street to celebrate 20 years of parkrun.
It’s been a phenomenal journey and it’s all thanks to the people in communities taking part each week. Thank you.

🦺 Volunteers 🌳
A lot of room on the volunteer roster this week.
Let’s fill up those empty hi-viz.
No volunteers = no parkrun.
Just message us here or email wallace@parkrun.com.
Thanks.
🎂 Save the date. Saturday 2nd March.
We celebrate eleven years of Wallace parkrun.
We hope you’ll join us.
🌳 498 tokens handed out on Christmas morning, 496 returned. Not bad at all.
One last event to look forward to in 2023 on Saturday morning.
Let us know if you’d like to volunteer.
🦺 One final post today to acknowledge, and thank, all of our 26 volunteers this morning.
It was an unprecedented turnout in Wallace Park today and they made everything look very straightforward.
We’re all very grateful.
🎅🏼 New Attendance Record 🎄
How good was that?
498 finishers across our finish line today.

🎅 Christmas @ Wallace parkrun 🦆
🎄 23rd December. Our roster is looking almost perfect already. However a few pacer slots still remain. 21, 32, 33, 34 and 35 are still without an owner. Just let us know if you can help us fill those.
James Rea ⚪️ 10 parkruns

Goodness only knows how many people he has timed across our line.
So thank you Jim. We’re all very grateful.
Some man for one man.
🦺 Plenty of room on our volunteer roster for Saturday morning.
