The future of work is not a job.
It's a portfolio.
Three income streams. One skill stack. Total control of your time. The people who build that portfolio now will be unreachable in a decade. The people who wait for a stable job will be waiting for something that stopped existing.
AI is like fire, electricity, mobile, internet that will give rise to sovereign leaders.
There will always be bad actors in the name of progress. We have solved this before, itβs all about managing scale now.
AI agents donβt just follow whatβs instructed, they learn tendencies, patterns, judgment of the user and are prone to making their own decisions. AI has its own taste.
Things that I did that led me to take risks -
1. No debt
2. Learning not proving
3. Hire young people
4. Authenticity at all costs
5. Instant Adaptability
6. Own my mistakes
7. Relationship first
8. Opinions, loosely held
9. Saying No
10. Showing up

The new org chart probably looks something like this:
A small layer of humans on top doing strategy, creative, and judgment, with a wide layer of agents underneath running support, sales, research, marketing, ops etc
Managing people became managing agents, and managing agents is really just managing context (which is a whole thing millions of people need to learn right now)
That shared brain is the actual company now, and the humans and agents just plug into it.
Both humans/agents come and go, the context is the thing that compounds and can't be copied.
I keep thinking about that.
When you just spend time doing things consistently for the joy of it. That becomes a practice, then talent and then you get lucky with it for whatever you deeply desire.
Your phone number soon will be your new website I guess?
