I think that if the SSJ2 Goku design had been closer to this, we likely wouldn't have had the issues with the animation going between SSJ1 and 2 seen in ep2 of DBS: Beerus, for example.

I’ve made Vegeta’s SSJ2 form quite different from what we usually see too. It’s actually quite difficult to visualize the SSJ2 form for these two characters for me.
Okay, this movie is RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING and was easily one of the best things I’ve seen all year, for real.
I liked all the messages this movie has, in particular, I found it quite outstanding the "Anti-America" messages one.
In Brazil, specifically, I found the decision to CHANGE THE VOICES from the first movie quite interesting... however, some friends of mine weren't very fond of the voice acting for others characters in the movie. I understand, but I don’t entirely agree.

This isn't meant to be complicated; rather, it’s just showing all the different paths one could take when recommending the series to someone.
For exp, if I want to suggest the DBS manga, the person would also need to watch FnF and Broly, since those parts are missing from the manga.
And if I were to suggest DBS Beerus, they would need to go back to ep 47 of the original DBS series to continue from there.
