Is productive debate still possible when we disagree on so much? That's what we're putting to the test in our new #JustTheFacts Debate featuring @benshapiro and @profgalloway moderated by PBS Newshour’s @GeoffRBennett. Data doesn’t argue. They do. I built @USAFacts on one idea: give Americans the data and let them argue it out for themselves. @BenShapiro and @profgalloway graciously agreed to put my idea to the test. What do you think about this debate format? youtu.be/A7_1Mqhmf4Y

At a time when Americans are debating affordability, opportunity, and the role of government, it’s worth starting from the same set of facts. I moderated @BenShapiro and @profgalloway as they debated about the American Dream, grounded in data @USAFacts, with founder @Steven_Ballmer at the Fact Desk. A substantive conversation between two people with very different perspectives — and a reminder that disagreement can still leave room for common ground. Watch: youtube.com/watch?v=A7_1Mqhm…
