🏟️ UCSF social workers are covering our bases as we pressure UC to end the two-tier system that puts workers & patients at risk. We distributed flyers at Giants Stadium last week to remind UCSF that while they may be sponsoring the ball game, they’re understaffing their clinics!

After 9 months of inaction to address safety concerns following the death of Alberto Rangel, social workers gathered with electeds and supporters for a “Hands Around Ward 86" vigil. Despite audits and fines against UCSF, little has changed. We're keeping up the pressure. 🤞

REVERSE THE LAYOFFS! 🔄 Just weeks after 2,100 IT workers across UC joined our union, UCLA Digital & Technology Solutions laid off 27 workers, including 10 of our newly-represented members.

UCLA leaders did not provide advance notice or alternatives to layoffs in the ways required by our contract. At the same time, @UCLA is $93 MILLION over budget for a tech project that is STILL incomplete after 7 years.
