2XKO Upcoming Patch Summary, Sett/Samira
We have our final balance patch that is scheduled to land next week that has buffs for both Samira and Sett. We wanted to tell people about it prior to Battle Coliseum, so you can make any meaningful team adjustments.
Samira: Samira is getting improvements to her S1 suite, improvements to her assists, better ways to combat retreating guard, a while-tagged-out-option for teamplay, plus other Quality of Life changes.
Sett: Almost every move on Sett’s kit is getting buffed in some way to improve his neutral, ability to combat retreating guard, and handfeel. Normals, anti-airs, std.S1, d.S2, j.S1, assists… honestly, pick a move and it’s likely improving in some way. In return for his entire kit getting more well-rounded, we’re removing two especially sharp outcomes from S2 super in Double Down:
- The ability to Double Down after Sett pulls the second champion in, but before they make contact. You could skip damage scaling this way and do an absurd amount of damage.
- The ability to handshake tag if S2 super whiffs while in Double Down.
There will be some miscellaneous bug fixes in concert with these changes. You can catch all updates in the patch notes when they drop.
