Whenever I encourage people to exercise, I sometimes hear the same response from individuals in their 50s and 60s
We’re too old now. What’s the point of starting at this age?
My grandfather, Dr. G. S. Kulkarni,
He’s currently 94 years old (turning 95 soon), and he still works out!
He used to do bodyweight strength training and running until he was around 60–65 years old. After that, he started traditional gym based strength training with weights.
He’s an orthopaedic doctor who continues to encourage his patients to exercise and stay physically active.
The videos I’ve attached were recorded are from 1-2 years ago

A simple way to understand injury
The load placed on a tissue exceeds its current ability to handle it.
Load > capacity.
That can happen in one sudden event, such as landing awkwardly, or gradually through repeated loading without enough recovery.
Here is a post on what you need to know about sports injuries
From time to time, people keep asking me whether they should take creatine and what's the best time to take it.
My advice? Take it whenever it fits your routine. pre-workout, post-workout, or even with your morning breakfast.
Consistency matters more than timing. Just take it every day.
If you any kidney issue's consult nephrologist before starting anything.

I turned down a job and a PhD opportunity in the UK to return to India and start a protein brand.
The story began about 11 years ago

Some mistakes take an hour to fix but you can spend days overthinking them.
Building TSA TEKK is teaching me two things:
Take responsibility for what I can improve.
Forgive myself for what I didn’t know, then learn it.
I’m still learning to hold myself accountable without making every setback a verdict on my ability.
The goal is to make better decisions next time and keep going.

Why can you leg press so much more than you squat?
On a conventional 45° leg press,
You experience roughly 70% of the weight you add on the machine
So 100kg added on the 45 degree leg press machine, exerts roughly 70.7 kg of force
Here is a detailed post on this ⬇️

Whey is getting expensive.
People have been asking me whether yeast protein is the future.
Yeast is a good option. But I feel precision-fermented whey will be the most widely used protein source for a protein supplement 5-10 years from now.
Here is more info about whey derived from precision fermentation

We've never shared what TSA TEKK stands for
Behind the name is a philosophy that connects everything we're trying to build.
When we started TSA TEKK, our goal was simple, create high-quality supplements that people genuinely enjoy using, while making exercise and nutrition science easier for everyone to understand.
TSA — TRUE SCIENCE APPLIED.
TEKK represents four principles:
T — Technology: Better product development and testing.
E — Evidence: Decisions guided by research + scientific reasoning for that decision
K — Knowledge- Making exercise and nutrition science accessible to everyone.
K — Kinetics: Understanding human movement and the forces behind it.
all of this connects to our tagline:
STRENGTH • STAMINA • MUSCLE
Strength to become stronger.
Stamina to sustain effort and perform better.
Muscle to support movement, function and long-term health.
They represent different aspects of physical performance that we want to help people understand and improve.
Our products, educational content and research-led approach are all built around that purpose.

Thank you for the support,
The sachets will be back in 3 weeks time around Diwali
When we launched TSA TEKK Plant and Yeast Protein, we expected them to be slow-moving products.
We were wrong. 😅
Initially, people bought sachets just to try them.
They liked the taste, came back for more, and eventually started ordering sachets in bulk for everyday convenience.
Today, both Plant and Yeast Protein sachets are out of stock!
We genuinely hadn’t anticipated this,
Our idea was simple: make good-quality protein accessible, affordable, enjoyable and convenient.
Seeing people appreciate that means a lot.
Thank you for the incredible support!
