Hi there, instead of relying on a sticker, Ledger uses Cryptographic Attestation.
Every time you connect a device to Ledger Wallet, the software sends a cryptographic challenge directly to the Secure Element chip. If the hardware, chip, or internal firmware has been modified or altered during manufacturing/shipping, the cryptographic check fails, and the app will flag the device as non-genuine.
The Secure Element chip is designed to detect physical tampering and will refuse to execute unsigned code or pass the genuine check if extra hardware attempts to intercept signals.
A cryptographic proof performed directly by the hardware chip is infinitely more secure than a physical sticker.
Dit is een welbekende misvatting die mensen vaak hebben dat de Nederlandse zorg geweldig is.
Mijn ervaring is dat het toch stiekem wel wat geld kost ieder jaar en als je echt zorg nodig hebt het vaak "kan niet mag niet, moelijk, wachten" is..

Het feit dat dit event minstens één nieuwe Elon Musk ter wereld aan het denken heeft gezet en tot de verbeelding laten spreken is genoeg.
Wij moeten in Europa af van deze bekrompen mindset. Het heeft ons nergens gebracht de laatste 50 jaar en gaat ons alleen maar meer miserie opleveren..
