Toronto Police

Anyone who knows policing knows that the role of our 911 communications operators and dispatchers is absolutely essential. They are the first voice people hear when they call for help and a vital link to the officers in the field. We continue to reduce 911 answer times, and that important work will be carried forward by the newest members of our Communications Services team. Welcome to the Toronto Police Service!

It is always an honour to take part in our Long Service Awards and celebrate the outstanding members of the @TorontoPolice and their lives of service. This fall, we even had the privilege of recognizing two members who reached an incredible 40 years of service. All of our long-service recipients play such an important role as leaders and mentors, regardless of rank, especially at a time when we are hiring many new police officers. Thank you for your dedication, and congratulations on this remarkable milestone.
