This CNC-built shop cart is still one of the most useful projects I've made. Cut on the Stepcraft M.1400 with Amana Tool SCFD-100, RC-45711 and 46170-K. Plans are available from @toolstoday, item no. SHOPCART.

After the caster mounts on these heavy-duty wheel dollies started bending under our CNC, we reinforced them with ¼-inch steel plate. This 60-second version shows the cutting, drilling, grinding, clamping, and final assembly. All tools used are available from @toolstoday!

You’re probably using the wrong RPM when drilling. Same 3/8” bit, six materials: acrylic, aluminum, brass, hardwood, softwood & steel. The Jet Smart Drill Press sets the speed for you. Tools: Jet JT1-2060 + FEIN VersaMag 90701004020.

This oversized acrylic base made our Trend T1 much more stable and easier to control. We machined it on the CNC, engraved it with the xTool P2S and added double handles before putting it to work. Check out the tools used available on our website!

Putting our custom acrylic Trend router base to work! The larger base and double handles kept the trim router stable even on awkward areas where a standard base could easily tip. Using the Amana Tool MR0110 Mini Roundover Bit.

Standard router bit bearings can be too large for tight CNC-cut corners. The Amana Tool MR0110 uses a tiny 3/16" ball bearing to reach those areas and leave a clean 3/32" roundover. One of my favorite bits for cleaning up CNC projects.

Cutting embossed leather on the CNC with a Donek D4 Drag Knife. Spindle off, 60ipm feed and 30ipm plunge. The knife follows the toolpath and leaves incredibly clean edges without tearing up the embossed surface. Available from @toolstoday.

No jointer? Cut both mating edges at the same time on the table saw. Scrap strips and XFasten tape hold the boards together while an Amana Tool 610301 Glue Line Ripping Blade on the SawStop ICS leaves a tight, glue-ready seam.
