Jill Sobule was a client years past, and a friend from afar. We at Toolshed express our deepest sorrow at her passing.
So excited for this record RT TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe: ‘I remember thinking I never want to do this again’ | Music | The Guardian theguardian.com/music/2025/a…

This important new book cites our work and, importantly, is based on interviews with lots and lots of creative workers, which is the best way to understand what’s happening on the ground.

It was so nice to sit down & talk with @thetrapset. I have a lot of respect for him and I feel like I got to know him so much better. I hope he feels the same way. Helped me feel more grounded in such an uncertain time, if even for a moment.

Solid gesture of musician support from @Bandcamp
To keep supporting musicians during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are waiving our revenue share on all sales this Friday, May 1, from midnight to midnight PDT. Let’s come together as a community to put money directly into artists' pockets: daily.bandcamp.com/features/…
Thanks @anidifranco...beautiful tribute
“so so sad to lose john prine. one of the very best. all love for him and his work.” -ani
Ani originally shared this recording of Angel from Montgomery with her @Patreon on 12/25/19 but wanted to share it more broadly in his honor.

It’s heartening to see @Patreon helping to provide sustainable incomes for mid-level and cultural treasure musicians going their own way musically such as @anidifranco
"@Patreon can help me strike a balance where I can still be creatively alive & not lose touch with myself as a musician & not lose touch with my audience & pay the bills, but also, you know, be present enough for my family when they need me the most." blog.patreon.com/ani-difranc…
