11 Months UNFALSIFIED. That's the scientific process... not boasting, kids. The Unified Behavior Model™ was presented specifically to a field that has a standing mandate for an ELEMENTAL, UNIFIED, and FALSIFIABLE behavioral framework. UBM delivers exactly that — a clean, clear move from the field's self-described "crisis of incoherence" to a hard, testable structure. FOUR and ONLY FOUR behavioral elemental domains. IN THE EPIC and IMMORTAL WORDS of STEVE JOBS (transcript): "The thing I would say is, when you grow up, you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world. Try not to bash into the walls too much. Try to have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money. But that's a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: that everything around you that you call 'life' was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And that you can change it. You can influence it. You can build your own things that other people will use. The minute you understand that you can poke life — and actually something will, if you push in something, it will pop out the other side — that you can change it, you can mold it. That's maybe the most important thing — to shake off this erroneous notion that life is just there and you're just going to live in it, versus embrace it, change it, improve it, make your mark upon it. I think that's very important. And however you learn that, once you learn it, you'll want to change life and make it better because it's kind of messed up in a lot of ways. Once you learn that, you'll never be the same again." Just remember... It's the 'crazy' ones! 👊 🤙 😘 See less

Jeff Bezos speaks last in every meeting, because his opinion would quietly rewrite everyone else's. He argues humans aren't built to seek truth. We're social animals, and 10,000 years ago the village truth-teller risked getting clubbed in the night. Any high-performing team has to deliberately build a culture that makes truth-telling survivable. His fix is simple: the most junior person speaks first, seniority follows in order, and the boss goes last. Even sharp, strong-willed people shift their view once someone they respect weighs in. He adds 2 guardrails: don't dismiss a hunch just because it lacks data, and when data has a happy reading and an unhappy one, assume the unhappy one until proven otherwise. The most senior voice in the room is the loudest bias in it.

"The years teach much which the days never knew." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson September. Writing The Habit Factor® in 2008, piecing together the Esoteric section. Thoughts about pattern and rhythm. I walked outside my office. First thought, nearly instant — “Wow, September is here.” It wasn't a calendar thing. It was an immediate sensation. The air quality. The angle of light. The temperature. All at once. I'm not sure I'd ever said that sentence before. PATTERN and RHYTHM. The UNI-VERSE. ONE SONG. The pattern was always there. As was the rhythm. It took years to recognize it. Feel it. Sense it. Understand it. That is The Habit Factor — recognizing personal patterns and rhythms #HABITS Then, creating new habits (patterns and rhythms) that align with your most important goals. You can't make this stuff up... ☝️🙌🏽👊🤙🙏 The EXXXTRA special feeling — when you find that your second book, *The Pressure Paradox™* (2015), is not just echoed in ONE TEDx talk in India, but appears to be the entire THEME of the event. “The Pressure Paradox” (2025). TEDx Mount Olympus School. The speakers: multiple PhDs, experts, mentalists, and presenters speaking on the “paradox of pressure.” JUST TEN YEARS after *The Pressure Paradox™* was originally published. And it seems another peak performance coach has assumed the title for his Psychology Today series. It’s great to see the concepts spread — even if it takes 10 years or more

How the “Mind” Broke the Science of Behavior (Psychology's near-fatal flaw) Psychology defines itself as the scientific study of the **MIND and BEHAVIOR**—yet there is no scientific consensus on what the “MIND” is. Do you know how insane that is? No pun intended. This video explores how the attempt to build a SCIENCE of BEHAVIOR upon an undefined variable—the MIND— has kept the field in a state of self-described "incoherence" for nearly 150 years. The *Unified Behavior Model™ (UBM)* addresses the fundamental structural mess by removing the undefined concept, “mind” completely. The first—and only—job for a science of behavior is to objectively establish a science of **BEHAVIOR**. Difficult to argue against that statement. B-E-H-A-V-I-O-R: the observable and distinct output of human action, including inaction. What are its ELEMENTAL influencers?

Wild moment in Yellowstone: A bull bison launched a tourist 8 feet into the air Friday, leaving the visitor seriously injured. Professional photographer Mike Macleod captured the intense charge on camera, calling the bison “angry, agitated and charging anything and everything.”

See the red circle. One year later. Marbles? Still intact. Barely. 😄 And of course, the STORY gets better… The most important thing to understand is that this effort was about ONE thing: UTILITY. What UBM offers you. (see value to end-user) Unified Behavior Model: Utility, “Value to End-user” Score 5/5 Opus 4.8 (6/23/26)📷 Five cohorts in, a 4.9/5 rating in the Behavior Architecture course demonstrates this utility. Semi-surprising results for a new framework and course. Yet, truth be told, long before UBM became a scientific paper (about four years), it was taught almost exclusively in executive coaching circles. open.substack.com/pub/habits…

Behavioral Scientists Today.. practicing MATH w/ out numbers Their words by the way, not mine! UnifiedBehaviorModel.com

Why the Experts Say Psychology isn't a Real Science? How They've been Teaching Math without Numbers. Is it possible to practice a science for 150 years without a foundation? The experts do not think so. Here's why: Imagine an international airport where the security lines and baggage claims are highly engineered, but the digital flight signs suddenly go black. Without the basic element of shared communication, the entire specialized infrastructure collapses into chaos. Behavioral science is that airport. For over a century, the field has produced thousands of observations but has failed to produce a single, unified foundational framework. In this video, we explore the self-diagnosed crisis of "soft" psychology—from the 1969 APA mandate to the specialized "silos" of modern academia. Discover why the experts are essentially practicing "math without numbers" and how the Unified Behavior Model (UBM) provides the first elemental alphabet for human action. We’re diving deep into: The 60-Year Literature Trail: Why leading academics admit the field is "pre-paradigmatic." The Airport Metaphor: Why specialized therapies fail without a foundational alphabet. Specialization vs. Abstraction: Why we must zoom out as the practitioner has done to find the irreducible building blocks of behavior. Spliters beget splinters. To unify is to simplify! The 4 Elemental Rings: Cognition/Stories, Behaviors/Habits/Skills, Environment (Including one's body), and Emotions & Feelings = the "DNA" of human behavior. Four and ONLY FOUR basic elements. The P.A.R.R. Protocol: The cybernetic feedback engine used to steer your personal "Behavior Echo-System". The No Fifth Element Challenge: The first hard-science, elemental, falsifiable challenge issued to the behavioral community. 55 Days away and counting.... UBM's "No Fifth Element" challenge is expected to expire unbroken/unfalsified! UBM empowers anyone to become an architect. The 16 Year Habit-Tracking Reversal True story: The reason habit tracking works is the very reason the experts said it did not; it’s separate! Even before their papers were published, the act of habit-tracking was ridiculed by behavioral scientists as ineffective, creating dependency, and a poor substitute for “real” behavior change. Then, formal academic research was published to solidify that position. Habit-tracking was not a way to cultivate habits. Last year, the field finally reversed course— it appears for good. This is where the story gets… G to the double O, D! GOOD! The most important thing to understand is that this isn’t an interesting footnote in behavioral science. It’s a revealing case study about how academics almost always dismiss— only to ‘discover’ — what practitioners already knew. Shape-shifting research “Liars figure, and figures lie.” ~Bobby G. Here’s how the academic position evolved — and importantly, notice how the expert argument shape-shifted. Phase 1 (2014–2017): Researchers warned that tracking apps drove repetition but failed to build “real” habits. One study reported that measurement reduced enjoyment—the collective verdict: tracking might drive repetition, but it doesn’t produce lasting behavior change. Phase 2 (2016–2020): As millions of users experienced real results, the critique quietly shifted. The new position: tracking may drive repetition, but it creates dependency — fragility — rather than “real” habit. That dependence is “separate.” Phase 3 (2022–Present): A 2024 systematic review reported a medium-to-large effect size for habit interventions. Psychology Today (December 2025) declared self-monitoring “one of the most replicated findings in behavioral science.” The key takeaway: the same method formally dismissed in 2015 became canonical by 2025. Same method. Completely reversed verdict. #thehabitfactor #habitalignment #habitstrength
