News reports say “Dr. Shaknovsky” killed a patient by removing his liver instead of his spleen.
First, that's not a surgical error. That's insanity — it's the wrong organ on the wrong side of the body.
Second, here's what the news reports are missing: he's not a "Medical Doctor." He's a D.O. — and it's not the same thing.
The @ACGME, AMA, and State Medical Boards must reconsider their choice to allow D.O.s to hold themselves out as "Doctors" and "M.D.s" — because the public is being misled, and patients are dying.

In 2013, I was served with a Cease & Desist from Columbia University's lawyers for writing a blog about their abusive OB/GYN Robert Hadden. Columbia said I was defaming their 'beloved' doctor and institution. 13 years, 801 clients, and a billion dollars later, Hadden is now serving 20 years in federal prison and Columbia is still employing and protecting key members who helped cover up Hadden's decades of abuse.
