Today is World Donkey Day. I appreciate the people who have sacrificed everything to ensure our Donkeys are safe and protected. I am a product of Donkey Sweat. We will streamline the Veterinary Practice to ensure that only licensed practitioners issue the Animal Movement Permit.

What would life look like without donkeys?
No water. No transport. No support for families.
Their lives matter — let’s protect them.

"Donkeys carry loads for us; let’s carry their welfare"
In Tanzania, donkeys walk for miles under the scorching sun, transporting goods, and even working in mining to help the community combat poverty. They are silent workers, burdened yet never complaining.
Let us protect them – at Arusha, Tanzania
This #VEDay marks 80 years since the end of WWII & also falls on #WorldDonkeyDay. Donkeys played a quiet but powerful role during the World Wars, especially in areas unreachable by modern transport. Today, over 50 million donkeys support people around the world 🫏

Donkeys are essential to rural life in Tanzania but their numbers are falling. The graph says it all.
As we approach National Donkey day, let’s remember that Donkeys are not just animals — they are partners in survival.
Stand with us to protect them.
