Nigeria plans to make itself a base for African digital companies: helping founders incorporate, retain IP, raise global capital and scale from home. The Itana Digital Free Zone is the flagship, with a 180-day roadmap toward launch.

BUILDING AFRICA’S NEXT GENERATION OF GLOBAL DIGITAL COMPANIES FROM NIGERIA
Nigeria has the talent, enterprise, and ambition to build companies that can compete anywhere in the world. Our responsibility as a government is to ensure that Nigerians do not have to leave Nigeria or rely on other jurisdictions to realise that potential.
For too long, some of our most promising young entrepreneurs have felt compelled to establish their companies and intellectual property abroad to access global capital and markets. I do not accept that this must remain the case.
I want the next generation of African technology, finance and service companies to be built, headquartered and scaled to the world from Nigerian soil.

Head of Product? As how?
You people don’t have sense. You should sack your head of product
I expected this to happen.
Three weeks before today, you’re meant to:
1. Scale up network capacity
2. Scale app servers horizontal
3. Prepare the authentication system
4. Pre-scale before the IPO
5. Load-Test the entire system
You guys generate lots of revenue, but you don’t want to bear the engineering cost of process improvements.
If you’re having difficulties using your bamboo like me, please use @Afrinvest instead
