Celebrating Our Temple ISD Principals!
During last night’s TISD Board Meeting, our incredible principals were honored in recognition of Principal Appreciation Month and their dedication to cultivating excellence across our district.
Our theme, Cultivating Excellence, reminds us that great leadership takes patience, dedication, and a commitment to helping others grow. Every day, our principals cultivate excellence in students and staff, build positive school cultures, and create environments where everyone feels supported and valued.
They also serve as protectors of their school communities, standing strong through challenges, advocating for their teachers and students, and leading with courage, compassion, and purpose.
As a special token of appreciation, our principals received jackets symbolizing the important role they play in protecting and supporting others. The jackets also serve as a reminder that they are valued, appreciated, and surrounded by a district that supports them.
Thank you to our amazing principals for the countless ways you lead, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of our Wildcats. We are grateful for all you do to make excellence possible!
Happy Principal Appreciation Month! #TempleISDproud

We are pleased to announce that two of our Temple Independent School District students had artwork selected for display at the TASA/TASB State Convention in Houston this past weekend.
Lilah Swanson had her project, titled “Exhibit #026”, selected as a representative of Temple High School, and Sa’Riya Moore’s project, titled “Through My Own Eyes", represented Western Hills Elementary.
Only a limited number of pieces of artwork, representing school districts from across the state of Texas, were selected for display at the convention. Thousands of school board members, district administrators, and leaders had a chance to see their artwork over the three days of the convention. This is the third consecutive year that Temple ISD students have had their artwork selected for display at the TASA/TASB State Convention. It is also the third consecutive year that Temple ISD has had two students chosen for this honor.
The Texas Art Education Association made the requirements and selection process more difficult this year, making the selection of two students’ artwork even more impressive. #TempleISDproud
We are pleased to announce that one of our Temple High School students has been recognized as a National Merit Semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Senior Aryan Guleria is one of approximately 16,000 students from across the country, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors to achieve this recognition. Guleria’s score on the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test earned him a spot in this elite group of honorees.
Aryan participates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma program and also takes advanced placement courses at Temple High School. He is a member of the Temple High School orchestra, competes in UIL Academics, and serves on the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. He was also recently notified that his research paper on stability thresholds of satellites in low-earth orbit was accepted for publication in The National High School Journal of Science.
More than 15,000 of the Semifinalists are expected to advance to the Finalist level and will be notified in February. The finalists will compete for about 6,700 National Merit Scholarships worth approximately $24 million.
Aryan, on behalf of Temple Independent School District, congratulations on both of these extraordinary accomplishments. We are so proud of you and wish you the best of luck moving forward in the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program! #TempleISDproud
