In closing, Motsoaledi called for renewed national commitment in the fight against #TB. He urged stakeholders to move beyond discussion and unite around a shared vision of a South Africa free from #TB, where no child dies from the disease and no family is pushed deeper into poverty because of it. Addressing delegates at the #SATBConference2026, @HealthZA Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, touched on the FOUR pillars of the #EndTB Strategic Plan. He emphasises the importance of patient-centred care, noting that finding people with #TB is not enough without collaboration from all sectors, especially the @The_DSD, who play a critical role in social protection and support. “TB cannot be ended through biomedical approaches alone.
