RIP the great U Roy. The first to prove that talking (rhythmically, brilliantly) over music on records could work. Every rapper, rhymer, MC and freestyler ever owes him a giant debt. Vibrate on, microphone fiend.
(I'll post a few great U Roy tunes later)

Lately we’ve had lots of emails from people asking how they can set up something similar to Independent Birmingham in cities across the UK. It’s great to see we’re not only inspiring people to support local in Brum but inspiring others to spread the indie love in their hometowns.

We're incredibly excited to be welcoming @_Nightingales to Moseley Folk this September who we think will stir things up good and proper. Have you watched the new documentary from Stewart Lee called "King Rocker" all about frontman Robert Lloyd? A must watch! Tickets on sale now.

Imagine creating an album as good as this. And it isn't considered your best. Rarely top 3 in fact.
It's just astonishing.
