I never thought I’d have to write something like this, and I never imagined my family would have to go through something like this. Over the past week, I’ve been dealing with the sudden and heartbreaking loss of my sister. I’m still struggling to accept that she’s gone and I don’t usually share much about my family, but I know Devin would’ve wanted you all to know a few things about her. She absolutely loved the color purple, loved sea turtles, and had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I’ve ever known. She was only 33 years old. She was taken from us far too soon, and there isn’t a day that will go by where she won’t be loved, missed, and remembered. If there’s one thing I want people to remember about her, it’s that she was always my big sister. She was protective, caring, and always looked out for me. No matter how many stupid fights we got into, she never stopped being that for me. I like to think that now even now she still gets to keep protecting me. I don’t really want to talk much more about everything that happened yet. When I’m ready, I will. For now, I want to say I don’t think enough people realize epilepsy and seizures are real, and they take lives every single day. Please take them seriously. I love you, Devin. Now that I’m working on @TimeboundMC I’m genuinely curious what people care about most in Minecraft events. Obviously gameplay comes first but outside of that how would you rank things like builds, music, SFX, UI or anything else that makes an event feel special?
