A Young Life Needs Timely Medical Care. Can You Help Abhimanyu? 🙏
18-year-old Abhimanyu’s life took a difficult turn on July 21, when he accidentally ingested acid. Since then, he and his family have been navigating a challenging medical journey.
Following initial treatment and surgery at @SJHDELHI, Abhimanyu was referred for further treatment and medical evaluation at @aiims_newdelhi and other hospitals. He currently has a feeding jejunostomy tube and is unable to eat normally by mouth. According to his family, they are also facing leakage complications during feeding.
Despite repeatedly visiting hospitals, the family says they are struggling to secure timely appointments and access the further medical care he needs. Each passing day brings greater uncertainty and anxiety for them.
Abhimanyu needs more than another waiting date. He needs timely medical attention and the right guidance.
Through this appeal, Chhanv Foundation urges the concerned hospital authorities, medical professionals, and individuals who can help to look into Abhimanyu’s case and support the family in accessing the necessary medical evaluation and treatment.

Today, our Sheroes visited the Indian Head Injury Foundation for counselling, occupational therapy and physiotherapy sessions. These sessions are helping them work towards better emotional well-being, improved mobility and stronger motor skills, making everyday activities a little easier and building greater independence.
Our collaboration with IHIF goes beyond therapy. It is about creating access to consistent, specialised care and ensuring that every Shero receives the support she needs on her journey towards recovery.

20,000. That was the amount at the centre of a rental deposit dispute in Udupi, Karnataka. But what followed was far more disturbing.
A 48-year-old man was arrested for allegedly throwing acid at a shopkeeper after a disagreement over the refund of a rental security deposit. Reports state that the accused returned to the shop carrying a bottle and a machete, allegedly attacked the shopkeeper with acid, and attempted to assault him with the weapon. The victim sustained burn injuries and was hospitalised.
A ₹20,000 dispute. An alleged acid attack. A life put at risk.
How can a financial disagreement become an excuse for such brutality? No amount of money, personal conflict, or dispute can justify acid violence. What could have been addressed through legal channels instead became an act with potentially lifelong consequences.
Acid is not a weapon for revenge or intimidation. Every victim deserves justice, medical care, rehabilitation, and dignity.
A deposit can be disputed. A life cannot be replaced.
