Great job @grok, this is sure to end all the conspiracy theories about Charlie’s death.
The only way this man will be successful is if he builds his own company. Nobody will employ him, but they are willing to be employed by him.
It’s unfortunate we live in a racist sexist country. Adapt of die.
Jack Weis has applied to more than 2,300 jobs since he graduated from Princeton in 2024 with his Ph.D. in chemical engineering. He still doesn’t have a job. on.wsj.com/4sfxSLc
It’s gonna be funny if the alien invasion fails because aliens thought they pass as human. Nobody was rude to them in public, but the internet is a different story. 🤣
With AI, UAP disclosure, heart beat quantum sensors, and flying cars, reality is becoming far stranger than fiction.
Any time a boomer describes how hard their life was, you can just do a simple inflation adjustment and realize they were living a life of wealth and luxury straight out of high school. When I got out of highschool I knew someone with a bachelors in chemistry making $11 an hour.
I'm a boomer.
I was self employed from about the age of 12 through high school.
I cut grass, baled hay, shoveled snow, sold firewood and collected bottles.
Anything to make a buck, I did it.
My first real job after high school in late 1979, I ran a jackhammer that weighed almost as much as I did.
40 hours per week outdoors in triple digit summer temperatures and single digit winter temperatures, no ear protection, and I got paid almost $4 per hour for doing this.
Then to make extra money, I still mowed a couple lawns and worked as a gas station attendant on weekends.
Younger generations of today really do have it much harder than I did back then.
🙃 🤦🏻♂️
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
$4 an hour in 1979 is nearly $20 an hour today.

It seems only the boomers want to eat their children. Everyone else wants to sacrifice what they put in so their children don’t suffer. THIS is humanity.

GenX here who’s paid SS my whole life. We have to shut it down. It was a bad idea passed by a bad President and it (along with Medicare) will wreck the country if we don’t.
The Zoomers have been fucked enough. Let’s at least do this for them.
The worst part of this dialogue is that after a boomer says they paid in already you can prove to them that they are taking out far more than they put in, and even after looking at the naked facts, they still hold their position that they need more. It’s disgusting.
If you don’t like the prequels or sequels, you’re not a real star wars fan. If you don’t like the new movies, you’re not a star trek fan. If you don’t like the 2011 remake, you aren’t a “The Thing” fan.
Honestly this logic is so pathetic it’s hardly worth engaging with.
The Halo reclamation has begun.
Unironically this single male juror in the Clancy trial may have been the best thing for women’s rights this century.
The biggest question any of us has before us is whether our efforts will be in pursuit of life or death.
If you choose the self, you choose death, if you choose the other, you choose life.
The secret to immortality is children. Through them, you can live forever.
I once saw a boomer say he had no obligation to give anything to his children.
The reality is that your only obligation is to your children. Your children are the future. You are destined for death. Those who would take from their children are demons. Those who would give to their children are divine.
