October 31, 2022. Bruce performs “Thunder Road” at the piano on the Howard Stern Show. A stripped-down rendition that moves his host to tears. Four years ago today. ❤️ #BruceSpringsteen

On this topic, and this applies to many teams in many sports ... A grand salute to the young people who stuck with it through difficult seasons. All of you are winners, all of you are champions.

Looking at Los Alamitos football ... 0-10 overall, 0-5 Alpha League ... The teams Los Al played are 66-32. All but one of them is going to the playoffs. That one team is 2-8 Yorba Linda which forfeited 4 nonleague wins.

Since its inception in 2022, this has come up each year. My son's team was 10-0 in 2022 and played a second-place team on the road. Until someone brings forward a proposal, it will remain the same. Being a league champ should come with a reward: a home game.

I always had great admiration for Jerry Koosman. Outpitched Mike Cuellar in game 2 of the 69 series. Not easy to do.. 2-1 victory. 220 wins, 140 complete games, 33 shutout , 20 wins twice. Great career and such a class person.. RIP

CIF Southern Section member schools can change this. The schools chose the competitive equity model. They can concoct a proposal to change this, bring it to the CIF-SS Council made up of league reps where that proposal goes up for a vote of the league reps.

So what is the purpose of having leagues then if there is clearly no benefit of winning league? HB is not in a terrible league & terrible league is an opinion call. You are of the thought it’s Trinity league & every other league is terrible… CIF as an org is just Lazy
