Today is the day! "To you, old friend." is streaming everywhere NOW! Turns out, the first day of streaming is the most important in terms of folks hearing the music (thanks for nothing Zuck) so stream it up today, wherever you stream your music! Listen: ffm.to/tyof
This was the moment. And I remember how this platform turned on me as reactionary for what was so obviously the end of America as we knew it.
10 years ago today @HillaryClinton nailed the bleak future ahead if Trump was elected.
“Clinton: Putin would rather have a puppet as president. You won't admit the Russians engaged in cyberattacks against the US, that you encouraged espionage against our people, that you spout the Putin line, sign up for his wish list, break up NATO, do whatever he wants you to do.”
Every word is true. Tragically, his capitulation to Russia is even worse than imagined.

This isn't a normal time, and this isn't a normal party. Republicans used to call Russia America's greatest adversary, now they call Putin's critics the enemy.

So, the United States bombed a school in Iran and now we’re helping Putin bomb schools in Ukraine.
Is THIS what being “great again” looks like?

Okay, I think that we all need to admit that the US has passed the point of no return. When an execution by firing squad is going to be livestreamed, you know you're no longer living in a civilized nation.

His brain is broken.
Trump does an incoherent ramble as a confused audience listens in complete silence:
"And you know what they're doing? They go straight down, you know, you can make those drill bits talk. You can make 'em sing, you can make them go, they go down. New York's over here, Pennsylvania-- they go down and they take a sharp left. And they suck our oil out. Can you believe it? Lines of different states, and you'll see one has Cadillacs, because they like Cadillacs better than they like Mercedes, but one has an Escalade, and one has a 50 year old Chevy. And you're talking about 3 ft. It's a line that goes right up. One has some beautiful drilling plants, and one has no drilling plants, it's got no money, it's got poverty."

I could only make it halfway through this transcript before I had to stop.
It’s almost unbelievable that this man is the President of the United States.
He rarely finishes a coherent thought. At one point, he actually says that all of his decisions “are correct ones.” His explanations of the national debt and basic economics are astonishingly muddled. And he makes false claim after false claim with absolute confidence. I can't tell if he's just doesnt care that he's lying or actually belives the lies himself.
Reading the transcript—not watching him, not hearing the delivery, just reading his actual words—is jarring.

If "communism is the greatest threat to our country in its history" and he wants to root it out of America, then why is he hanging pictures of communist authoritarians in gilded frames in the White House?

There is something so unAmerican and so disturbing about an American president demeaning and poking fun at a fellow American president in the presence of a communist leader, while the previous president is battling cancer.
It’s just so sickening.

What a horrific thing for our commander in chief to say about people who sacrificed their lives for our country.

Sir, the word is COMMEMORATE. Nobody’s celebrating 9/11.

Just for anyone not keeping track, we are now in the "we actually love North Korea, and we shit on American soldiers on the USS Lincoln" phase of MAGA.
