First time I've seen a legit infographic of Starship pushing Orion to the moon! They're also already modifying Orion to be able to handle being pushed by Starship. I like that things are being modified to follow common sense and not stuck in the "well it can't do that" as an excuse to do things poorly and compromised.

And here's the first infographic of Blue Origin's Blue Moon landing! It will require 3 transfer stage launches.

Stretched Centaur for SLS! And they might also add a kick stage to be able to get Orion into Low Lunar Orbit!!! THESE are the decisions I like to see being made!!! This makes sense, and is the best way to make use of what we have.

🇯🇵 Japan is one of the few to successfully return samples from deep space. While Phobos is small, it is orders of magnitude larger than Ryugu & Itokawa, enough to support wheeled rover and sophisticated robotic arm coring to extract deeper, higher-volume regolith samples

I slowed JAXA's 20x animation of the #MMX IDEFIX rover deployment down to 1x real time so you can see just how weak Phobos gravity is (~1/1,700th of Earth).

Dose, yes. Preclude flying again, no. I could have walked on the moon, but I’d rather help someone else do it. That’s my truth, not speaking for anyone else.

Probando la separación de la cápsula india Gaganyaan con su módulo de servicio.

ISRO has successfully conducted a test of Gaganyaan's Crew Module (CM) - Service Module (SM) separation system at VSSC! 🔥
Near the end of every orbital mission of Gaganyaan just before atmospheric reentry, it is crucial for the CM to cleanly separate from the SM for a safe return to Earth.
The goal of the test was to not only test the mechanical separation of the CM from SM, but also to demonstrate the smooth severing of the umbilical lines containing electrical and fluid connections running between them, as well as, testing the ability of the subsystems on board CM to survive the shocks and vibrations generated by the separation event.

Griffin-1 is home. The lander spent Tuesday night outside Indianapolis and Wednesday night outside Columbus before the last leg into Pittsburgh. It was built here, and it’s back for its final preparations before heading to the Moon.

The first crewed Apollo mission lifts off!
Wally Schirra, Walt Cunningham, and Donn Eisele became the first 3 astronauts to be launched on a Saturn rocket 58 years ago today. This 11-day mission in Earth orbit was an important test of the Apollo command and service module. Three months later, it would take NASA astronauts around the Moon.

STAR VISION (🇨🇳) and METU (🇹🇷) brought their jointly developed twin lunar rovers, CHERI, to IAC 2026.
Bound for the lunar south pole on Chang'e-8, the micro-rovers will test autonomous cooperative exploration and 3D surface mapping.

🔴 Before @esa's Rosalind Franklin rover can explore Mars, it must first drive off its lander.
🪨 We might touch down on a slope or on top of a rock, and we will only have one chance to get it right.
Once the rover leaves the landing platform, there is no way back.

NASA's Mars Perseverance rover has earned its name, setting a new "Off-World" record for furthest distance driven by any rover on another world, 28.10 miles (45.22 km), breaking the record of the rover Opportunity at 28.06 mi (45.16 km) from 2004-2018. science.nasa.gov/blogs/perse…
