At what point does this become foreign interference of our elections?
To back up: the main group that Danielle Reiff and the other ex-USAID workers belongs to, Renew To Thrive (R2T) / Renew American Democracy (RAD) have an explicit strategy document. That strategy outlines "preparing for the worst" which includes the Insurrection Act or "election meltdown," and their goal is to get "structural reform" in place by that - a polite way of saying our Constitutional Republic has to be overhauled.
In July 2026, R2T/RAD invited foreign state actors to share experience with the American community, for the express purpose of operationalizing their expertise right here in the United States. All actors had experience in international community assisted transitions (I'll let you figure out what that is a code word for).
The disturbing part, though, is that all of the foreign actors' recommendations were implemented right here in America.
You may have seen news headlines like:
- Restore trust in processes
- Increased election security, increased legal presence at polls
- Democratic officials hold tabletop exercises
- Judges prepare for post-election challenges
To be clear, this video doesn't prove that this meeting specifically caused this cascade of escalations. But what it shows is that the democracy-promotion playbook the U.S. spent decades exporting, with situation rooms, observers at every polling place, prebunking and litigation paired with street mobilization, is now being run on America's own election. The same people are running it, and they're taking advice from the foreign actors the U.S. once backed.
Now when you look at officials talking about independent watchdogs or tabletop exercises... know that it's because they are now treating the United States midterms exactly the same as they'd treat elections in a third world country.
And I think more than a small part of them are hoping that it does become a self-fulfilling prophecy as it has in so many of those countries. (For context, my book Unelected documents that so-called "election meltdowns" are precursors to transitions of power via color revolution.)

Most of us know the main fight right now isn’t gas prices, groceries, or even Iran and Ukraine. Those are real problems, but they’re downstream. The real threat is the Islamist-Marxist alliance trying to take this country over from the inside.
If they succeed, the economy doesn’t just get worse. It collapses. Private property, free speech, equal justice, and the rule of law all get subordinated to either Sharia or class warfare. It is already clear that Zelensky's statements about Starlink speeds and the US not sharing data about Russian ballistic missile threats have been seen as U.S. election interference.
And it's hard to see them any other way when he makes these statements on American TV, followed by a wave of comments in European media claiming that Ukraine is being forced to surrender to Russia.
I see Zelensky's actions as an act of desperation. With his defenses collapsing on all sides, he is trying to attack Trump and the Republicans, hoping that the Democrats will support him (as always), and then something will happen.
In fact, “something will happen” is the foundation of all Zelensky's plans for the future. Putin didn't die, so maybe he'll get lucky this time.
Basically, all of this shows how deeply trapped and desperate Zelensky is. He sees no real way out, so he charges straight into confrontation like a ram.
But this is no longer Oval Office 2.0, when Trump was the “aggressor,” trying to force Ukraine to do what he wanted in one quick move.
Now it's personal. Zelensky himself has turned it into a personal conflict, and he won't be able to pretend that none of this happened.
Especially since, in Trump's eyes, if the Republicans lose the elections in two weeks, Zelensky will be the one to blame. Not the Iranians, and certainly not the Russians.
Overall, if Zelensky manages to survive in this situation until March, it will be a miracle.
But I think Trump will do everything he can to get rid of him by the end of January, while he still has the Senate and Congress on his side.
