Welcome to the weekly international news from Stockmark.IT - covering the news that affects international financial markets 📰 Sunday 25th October 2026 Read the full article here: via weekly.stockmark.it/issues/w… 📑@stockmark_it
I attended the Gentile Mining & Metals Show in London. It was brilliantly organised, and not only did I speak to several companies, but I even dared to ask a “difficult” question during the panel discussion. Later in the week, I met Ian Stalker of @BraddaLithium (#BHL). And what an eye-opener it was. I am familiar with Ian, but hearing about the company, his other investments and his companies was actually as much an inspiration as anything else. And I do not say that often. The CV of the management team is key to a company’s success, and one would expect this and other factors to prevail at BHL. If there is a sizzle to look at here, it is not just the flagship Whistlejacket Lithium Project but also the bargain-basement purchase, announced last month, of six Tanzanian uranium assets for just $1.8m. Oh, and by the way, Ian and I both hail from Glasgow and are devoted Beatles fans. voxmarkets.com/articles/the-… @ZaksTradersCafe
One of the advantages I have as an actual financial journalist of over 25 years’ standing (NUJ) is that I have interviewed hundreds of CEOs in my time. This is unlike most of the fly-by-night people on the financial PR/IR scene, where the barrier to entry these days is minimal: set up a website, buy followers/views and then hoodwink CEOs with a pushy sales technique and a matey demeanour. Given my experience, it is all the easier to know when I meet the real deal—someone who can steer a listed company in the right direction. Indeed, now in my seventh decade, I am making it more of a mission to meet companies face to face. voxmarkets.com/articles/the-… @ZaksTradersCafe

Critical Metals has been one of the strongest recent chart calls, although the scale of the advance has exceeded even an optimistic starting point from the 15p call 💥reaching the third target at 40p. The next pointed as high as 57p which has been breached.
The share prices have since moved above 80p. The next objective is the two-year resistance area around 90p, potentially in the coming days. Above that, the more ambitious scenario points towards 120p to 130p by the end of November. 📑 share-talk.com/traders-cafe-… @ZaksTradersCafe

As far as @MedPalPlc (#MPAL) is concerned, it would appear that the last of the IPO investors are out and the shares are ready for a fresh leg to the upside. The ongoing charting call here was, and perhaps still is, 10p by the end of October. A punchy call, but then again, it is a punchy stock.
I look forward to my next Mounjaro delivery and can only praise the very efficient New Health service, which has helped me achieve my 25kg weight loss. voxmarkets.com/articles/the-… @ZaksTradersCafe

@MedPalPlc (AIM #MPAL) has announced that its New Health business has become one of the UK's top 30 Mounjaro providers by supply volume, climbing from 3,048th to 29th place in just three months, according to rankings provided by pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly.
The rapid expansion follows the launch of New Health's initial marketing campaign in July 2026, with the company's customer base now exceeding 42,500, up from more than 33,000 at the end of September. share-talk.com/medpal-ai-rep…

Former stock market darling @GuardianMetRes (NYSE-A: $GMTL, LON: #GMET) continued to lose ground. Having peaked at over 300p in April, the shares ended the week at 77p. This is quite a fall from grace, given that the market cap in the spring would have been over £0.5bn.
When I noted this among a group of stock market investors during the week, it was suggested to me that the company had been “over-hyped”. I think this is somewhat unfair, as, to my mind, the company was very well promoted and did so at the right time in the explorer/developer cycle.
That said, the driver here is that the company would be one of those addressing the US critical-metals supply chain and its security. At the end of the day, the only way to do this is through production, not just exploration and proving up assets. But perhaps just as relevant—and something that CEO @oliverjfriesen will be aware of—is that the Lassonde Curve has kicked in.
Although my favourite curve is the Laffer Curve, no one in government currently appears to believe in it. The Lassonde Curve, however, has almost god-like credibility, so much so that there are mining companies I know that are keen to suggest they have been able to escape its peaks and troughs.
But in the case of Guardian, looking at the Lassonde graphic, it can be seen that the share price has very much entered the Orphan Period. The question now, with the shares down by more than two-thirds from their peak, is whether current levels represent the floor ahead of a big bull run as it moves towards becoming an operating company. voxmarkets.com/articles/the-… @ZaksTradersCafe

@GuardianMetRes (NYSE-A: $GMTL, LON: #GMET) All of a sudden shares of GMET have fallen out of bed over the past month, currently trading back at year lows. This is particularly surprising coming from what has been a stock market darling since it came to market. Somehow @oliverjfriesen and the team need to get some of that love back into the stock. voxmarkets.com/articles/rns-… @ZaksTradersCafe
Thought for today: Seven million people in UK – more than one in ten – now claim at least one sickness or disability benefit. Among those of working age, the number has jumped by more than 60% in six years, from 2.9 million to 4.7 million. Total welfare spending is set to exceed £322bn this year. That is more than five times what we spend on defence. share-talk.com/uk-welfare-sp…

Critical Metals has done rather well from our 15p call 🎳 reaching the third target at 40p. Above 40p, the next projected line pointed as high as 57p which has been breached. Reaching a target is one thing; establishing it as a platform for the next move is another. @ZaksTradersCafe take a bow 👏

@CriticalMetals_ : Targets cleared, with a golden cross approaching: #CRTM has already passed its first target at 15p and its second at 24p. Clearing 24p opens the possibility of an acceleration, although 40p by the end of October is a punchy objective. The 50-day moving average is approaching a cross above the 200-day average, a configuration known as a golden cross. The approach to that crossover can be a particularly strong phase for a chart. As long as the shares hold above recently broken resistance around 22p, the route towards 40p remains open. share-talk.com/traders-cafe-… @ZaksTradersCafe

Although one cannot tell it from the initial share price reaction, the finance facility for #BZT is a company maker, and one that de-risks it in terms of the flagship Hope and Gorob asset, particularly now that production is on its way. This could be the next @ColinBirdMining vehicle to leave the station – in share price terms of course. voxmarkets.com/articles/rns-… @ZaksTradersCafe

@BezantResources (AIM #BZT) has secured a £4 million financing facility from US institutional investor Yorkville Advisors as copper concentrate production begins at its Hope and Gorob project in Namibia, with the first shipment expected in November 2026.
The copper and gold exploration company confirmed that it has entered into an agreement with YA II PN Ltd, managed by Yorkville Advisors Global, for a £4 million unsecured, non-convertible loan, providing working capital as operations move towards regular concentrate sales.
Copper concentrate production is now underway at Hope and Gorob, marking an important milestone in Bezant’s transition towards generating revenue from its mining operations. @ColinBirdMining
